Why would anybody object to a peice of Star Trek in STAR TREK Online?
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

As I said in the news thread on this topic "Ugh."
I'll give it a fair shot, though I still don't like jjtrek. Might as well just get on with things tbh. It is their game after all!
I wanna fly them all ! Especially the klingon bird of prey !
I can't help it... that ship just looks like a T'urd with wings...

Why would anybody object to a peice of Star Trek in STAR TREK Online?
This.
Also, adding JJTrek adds more variety. Variety in ANY video game is good.
I have to agree with that. Whether people like the JJ films or not some people do and more Trek is more Trek. There are always going to be people that don't like one thing or another within a franchise but respect for others who might should always be foremost. Star Trek in all its incarnations belongs to everyone and they have a right to enjoy it as they feel. That's my two cents.
Why would anybody object to a peice of Star Trek in STAR TREK Online?
Because:
1- They didn't like Lost/Alias/Fringe/Other-Bad-Robot stuff.
2- This isn't "real" star trek and only "real" star trek counts.
3- The lens flare jokes haven't run their course.
4- The focus on action adventure trumps the cerebral stuff Trek was known for. And that rubs folks the wrong way because they got it in their head that Wagon Train to the Stars was never meant to have action in its adventures.
I'm not a fan of the JJ movies by any stretch of the imagination. I think part one was meh, I hated part 2 and have no interest in part 3. I'm not thrilled to see it in game. Having said that, I'm not against it either. We already have missions involving one alternate universe, what's one more?

Funny. I feel much the same way about Voyager - a show that in its pilot manage to let its Treknonbabble run so AMOK that they invented a sub-atomic particle responsible for RAINFALL (morons...) and had the entire plot hang on the notion the Star Fleet no longer knows how to put a timer on their bombs. And the cavalcade of dumb went downhill sharply from there.
Star Trek --none of it-- is what you'd call a bastion of great writing. SO I tend to just pick and choose the more entertaining or thoughtful moments, the visuals, and the ideas more than the specific execution. The 2 most recent movies both have sections that make me want to gouge my eyes out with my own clawed fingers, but I can still enjoy the overall ride and the wonderful work done by a thousands of people who aren't the writer that can't wrap his head around the idea space is big no matter what sci-fi settings he's trampling.

I can't figure out if you're a senior citizen or a 5 year old child. Your minion obsession is baffling.
I was wondering the same thing myself. <_< o_o

I like both. But I do like TNG era more than some of JJ stuff.

I'm betting T6 with its full capabilities unlocked only if you have the Adapted Destroyer and Adapted Cruiser from the older Lock Box.

Don't look too long into that abyss. Also that BoP art is rocking and I want one. Dude has no taste in spacecraft.
Fortunately, I have both those ships on the Romulan Captain I'll be chasing the AR-Romulan ship for .
Nothing wrong with that at all, so do I.

Or a mix of all of those.
Also I would legitimately play a Observer Faction hat-wearer.

I LOVE IT.
AR Trek is as close as you'll get to AXANAR Trek, so...
