Is it sad that when I first read that it was a Vorgon ship I nearly misread the text and thought they were going to give us a Vogon ship (From Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) and was praying it didn't weaponize poetry and trying to figure out why there were giving us an alien ship from a race not in Star Trek. It took me a minute to remember where the Vorgon appeared in Star Trek.

Unfortunately, it would be tough for them to weaponize poetry, now that the crew mechanic has been removed from ship combat.

I guess poetry could still be used as a ground weapon, though.
One question...
Why does the Andorian have a Dromedary's Digit???
Most Illogical!

Why would you wear gloves and go go boots to the beach?
Good lord, I saw it as a nine year old kid back in 1968.
THAT whole episode (The Gamesters of Triskelion") was Really Pushing the Censor's Button's back then!!
Angelique Pettyjohn was my first Adult-Oriented Crush and the reason I had delved full-monty into the world of 'leather & ropes' by the time I was 15.

Here I sit, a bit jealous of the players who will be able to participate in the fun on Risa this year. Even after the latest round of updates, my FPS on Risa is still inexplicably terrible.
Are there any more updates in the pipeline, or am I going to have to sit this one out again this year?
When I had FPS problems a few years back, I played during off hours - late at night. If you have the option, that might help you.

Sorry you're having problems.
Have you tried disabling the UI?
Or, alternatively, there's talk on Reddit that disabling parts of the UI can help improve framerate as well. The mission tracker for example appears to have a significant impact.
The effect may even vary based on the number of in-progress missions you might have.
Give me my ship to claim for Admiralty, dismiss it, reclaim the box, toss it in the bank and get a new board, if it's faster. Move along, move along...
Well, we've mentioned the Vorgons, Vogons and Vorlons... but what about the Vorvons? Well?
(Edited because it wasn't appropos to the thread, and I don't want to hijack)
It'll be interesting to see if we have a run-in with the Vorgons during the summer event much like Picard did on Risa.
Yellow Science Vessel Submarine in Summer 2017 then?
Yes. Seriously. Actually, not seriously per se, because the point of a Risian Yellow Submarine (Risian Subspace Research Vessel, with some mechanic granting a Subspace Dive... console, 3-piece set bonus, Starship Trait, etc... so it can run silent, run deep) is the fun... but yes, that would've been perfect.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
I have *GOT* to get that gorn girl in a Bikini shirt for my gorn! LMFAO!! Awesome... Not sure how the Triskelion outfit ended up 'swim wear' but hell I wants it
edit:
why... are the guys in the triskelion missing their "junk"?
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

That gorn shirt IS THE MUST HAVE of the event for me this year.
I wish that thing was real world so I could get one for conventions.

Tom Selleck confirmed as Magnum P.I. cameo in Summer event!
Something tells me we're going to see some more freaky deaky RP on Risa this summer.
Risa won't be the only thing rising this summer! Uh huh huh huh huh huh.
"No matter where you go...there you are."
Don't tell me you didn't see it.

But on a sidenote: The neck punishment devices (IIRC) are optional?
They're beautiful.

Other than the fact that the Gorn Hula Girl Shirt is guaranteed to be OP, we have to wait another day or two.
