Are they going to fix the hanging up that occurs when switching between toons? I don't have any problems with framerate or anything else on Risa, just the abysmally long loading screen, over a minute sometimes.
Likely a result of THIS particular issue. The loading times have gotten worse and worse since the event started.

And now the server is DC'ing over and over for a bunch of people and it ain't our internet.
No problems here, I'll bet it is your internet.
Read the time stamp. This was 3:11am EST, you're talking about 7:20pm. Several other people were getting DC'd multiple times in a row. Seemed like the server was having hiccups at the time. I never have connection issues with STO unless it's on their end.

And at the time you state I had no issues with DCs at all, nor did I have any at earlier times, nor have I had any such issues since then. Last time I had connection problems was when that DDOS **** was going on.
Same here, I only have issues when the server is being attacked or having issues, but everyone is complaining of random DC'ing in the last couple days.
I want to extend a huge thanks to the team for putting in the retro swimwear this year. I was one of supporters of getting the Shahna thrall suit into the game; one of my first picks for TOS-era costuming.
However...
If I knew nothing about the history of that outfit, I could probably take it for just a retro or strangely-styled item of swimwear.
As we see in the episode that featured it, it's actually the suit of a thrall and a gladiatrix. In other words, she wore the thing in close combat, which seems to me that it should be accessible as more than a swimwear costume slot.
The Shahna suit was a great example of the space vixen genre, and TOS introduced plenty of that, including the Orion women. As for Shahna, that was her outfit, that was her uniform. The boots and gloves are passable for different uniform styles, other than the metallic textures. The collar should be as usable as the other pieces in that location. The remainder of the pieces, as worn by Kirk in the episode...same thing.

A lot of people who don't know TOS think the outfit is some sort of, shall we say, "adult" recreational clothing.

Heh...
In the "Real World" it is.
But they were going more for the "Gladiatorial" look on the cheap.

"everyone" seems to be an exaggeration, for me the main annoyance is the slow loading bug.
During the 'Artifact Hunt' event, any item that is related to the FNORD class gets a legacy floater saying it's been unlocked in the store. I've checked around and I can't find anything in the stores, unless there's a new one I missed. As a result, I have to assume there's either an error or a new store for temporal items that will be released at a later time, possibly after unlocking the Xyfius (which is unlikely), with the next summer event, or with a future lockbox.
I saw that, so now I skip it and just do the other three routes on my mission. At least until they announce it's been fixed. Along with that sticking loading screen.
Really, wipe the gorilla glue off it already!
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
I typically skipped spiral the tower just because I don't like that one anyways. It's the hardest to get to and second most annoying to do.... first is the one where you have to fly in a horizontal corkscrew around the rope bridge.... that one is the most annoying.

Are you using the shooter mode (default 'B')? That makes all flying significantly easier. (Otherwise yes, those two races mentioned are the most demanding, still not much though.)
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
No I don't use shooter mode... I hate it. You only need it to go down anyways and I use the mouse to face down.
I only use it for the Risa flying. And given I've always played on a touchpad, it renders it so much easier (one hand compared with two otherwise).

I like spiral tower but I hate rope bridge, I only grew to hate it after getting it on 3 toons consecutively, for over a week, I couldn't get a flight mission without it.

Conversely, I'm always a little bit pleased when I get the river one by Qwen's camp as well as the one flying under the stone arches. Those are just perfectly aligned so you're starting the second one as soon as you end the first. Not to mention that both are some of the easiest to navigate.

Still unable to log into Risa with half of my alt's; ironically, my female characters logged in on the first try, but the male characters got no joy after 10 attempts each...?!?

That's a tad wild, and it's a coincidence. Gender doesn't matter, from my expirience.

Oh yeah, That setup makes it EASY. Another is getting the jungle path, then the river. The best is getting the jungle path, then the river, then the arches. The two that involve flying around the volcano are fun to pair. I actually used to go to the effort of flying through the cave when I go the rope bridge then the one that starts inside the volcano.
Anyone able to get the Fireworks Accolade on Risa this year? I have gotten it previous on my other toons but this year I have not seen it yet... it says to see the fireworks at night time... I am on the piers/docks and standing there from before evening to the next morning and no fireworks... I see the Trill/Klingon pop up thou.
