I'm seeing all this new info about all this Temporal related things,
here,
here with the 2 different Temporal Agent Packs.
Everything in there is Fed-centric. So nothing for KDF & Romulan Republic players? No Klingon, Romulan ships, uniforms... nothing? That is worse than the already lopsided Delta Pack. At least the Delta Pack threw in token KDF & RRW ships. This pack? Jack & S--t.

So in essence it is a new faction but they made It compatible with existing FED faction probably to ease the sting of starting over again. It seems perfectly logical to me and is a good idea moving forward. We could have Cardassion-KDF sub-faction for example in the future.
I suspect they might be waiting to see how the TOS content is received before looking at the red and green side of that era (if they've any intentions there at all, that is). They've already got period costumes and several ships for each ready to go after all.

This isn't a small tease. There's quite a bit of new work done in there, yet not one thing in there has anything new for the KDF & Romulans. The Connie, TOS Uniforms, TOS Mirror Uniforms, TOS Command Tunic are old stuff. The ripped TOS uniforms is just a small tweak of the TOS Uniforms. But everything else in there is new.
They go through the pains on giving us Starfleet ships with a TOS flair to them, yet nothing on the KDF nor Romulans. Hell, the Roms still don't have an endgame D-7 while the T'Liss skin is hidden back at Tier 1 never to be heard from again, yet the ENT-era T'Varo skin, which predates TOS / Federation era, is there for endgame purposes.
What? The "older brother hand me down clothes" type of ships?
That is why its a small tease. They only gave us partial data.
How does this effect the current STO time line? Is it something totally different or later they join the 2410 year? What all ships we are using? They only showed us the pack to buy. What about the other ships? Their layout from the pack isn't right for a new character. What about the ones not buying the pack. What ships or stuff they get to use? What about some of these special stuff from this expansion they mentioned?
Most people are getting worked up over speculation. When they don't have the full information on this.

Actions speak louder than words. Look at Cryptic's track record and you'll see why people are worked up.

All cloaks should be canon.
What if we could be presented monthly statistic summaries of the playerbase each month or quarter? It may make the decision a whole lot easier to swallow if we knew that 90% of the total character-hours in a period were actually Fed, Fed-Rom or whathaveyou. Maybe with other breakdowns.
I can't be the only person who would find this kind of information interesting. We like to think of the factions as equal, but even an anecdotal tour through the Beta Quadrant says it is not.
The Temporal Multi Mission Science & the Ouroboros(?) raider are "faction neutral" ships per a tweet from one of the Devs (CrypticCat?)
Whether that means it's going to be the "start of a trend" where all the f(r)actions get identical ships or if there's plans to "tweak" the KDF & Rom Temporal Sciences like the TMMSV is a "tweaked" Wells Class is still up in the air...
To rob a line: [quote: Mariemaia Kushrenada] Forum Posting is much like an endless waltz. The three beats of war, peace and revolution continue on forever. However, opinions will change upon the reading of my post.[/quote]
For Neutral ship info...
It needs to have a better measure behind it to be able to give us a breakdown of what constitutes active. logged in character-hours is the best I could think of off the cuff. Total character count is easy, but somewhat meaningless as alts are easily made and easily forgotten.
Yeah, we're lucky enough to get access to 2 of the, what, 10 FED ships? Thanks!
Cant for the life of me personally understand why a ton of people think that generic temporal trek ships everywhere is such a blast, oh wait, yea they get 10 more ships....
Like Kyrrok said, they saved me 129 bucks.
Yea 2 neutral, which is what it is, and "10" fed specific ships, and "no" KE/RR ships.
So im going to pay 130 bucks for two ships, fed unis my KE/RR toons cant equip, and perks?, nah.
Lol i can just imagine all the high blood pressure that would be around the forums if this new expansion had been totally KE or RR oriented, and they had dropped just 5 and 5 faction specific ships for each.
Funny how it never works out that way huh.
I play everything. So yeah, I'm as interested in seeing new stuff for the Roms and KDF as anyone, but I'm not going to fly off and blindly assume that there is nothing TWO MONTHS before release.

T5. Twice as as many Fed ships as there are KDF and Rom ships combined. One each KDF and Rom science ship, both of which are garbage. Oh, and the Dysons.
Delta Rising pack. Two each KDF and Rom ships, six Fed ships. Still no KDF or Rom T6 science ship.
Later releases: A few three-packs, three Fed-only singletons including a two-hangar carrier. The one faction that possessed a canon fighter carrier has yet to get a two-hangar carrier of its own; Klingons still await a T6 Vo'Quv.
Content since LOR: Fed writing with random Klingonese words thrown in, barely any acknowledgement that Romulans even exist as anything but NPCs. The one time there's a remotely KDF-like mission, they're written as gung-ho idiots and Kahless dies of stupidity.
You see the pattern? Why should we speculate Cryptic plans to do something when we have three straight years of past performance to the contrary?

Tliss hidden back at tier 1? Umm what? Know that tier 6 pack that came out Defiant/Kor/(can't remember the Rom one), allows you to slap on the Tliss skin buddy.
