After further consideration of all available information Im gonna put my money on Expansion #3... i mean the dev's have been hinting at something big for this year due to the anniversaries so I expect atleast an expansion. Anything less at this point would be a grave disappointment.
I think the ideal time for expansion will be somewhere in between Star Trek Beyond and 50th Anniversary

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Why do you think it would be expensive? This was said about Jeri Ryan too, and yet she's in the game.
My thoughts are that 05/05/16 will see the start of a series of episodes where we interact with the various crews from each series during a notable incident, to prevent their removal from the timeline culminating on 8th Sept (which is a thursday so would fit nicely) with some sort of mission to protect the birth of the federation. Followed by a new expansion which does take us into the boldly going style of things.

Hey guys with temprol front releasing on the 12/04/16 id thought it wud b fun to speculate whats happening on the 5th. Since its a thursday and Missions / c store items are released what do u think is most likely?
I figured they just moved the release date up and didn't bother to fix the video. That sounds the most reasonable reason to me.
Then in all of our guessing games what actually happened is that in the end we get a final mission that finally tells us what happened to Data and the Enterprise-E. We where send to the Guardian of tomorrow to help us find Enterprise-E then poof!
At the end of the Mission we get a T6 Sovereign... While we're at it KDF and Romulans are awarded with the Equivalent of the Sov in T6 version.
We already know what happened to the Ent-E and Data. It's in the path to 2409

I just want the scenario that it was "We", the reason why Data Survived and why Data isn't the one being the Captain of Enterprise-F is because Data is needed to be the Captain of a Sovereign T6. The odyssey wasn't mean't for him to Captain but Shon. I'm not really convince on the whole Christine Thompson story when she made Data convince Shon to be the Perfect Candidate for the Ent-F.
Yeah Shon maybe a good Tactical officer but we are talking about Data here. Data's experience and capabilities far much excel Shon and unless there is a freaking problem with Data being a Captain, If I where the Head of Starfleet I would give the Command of the Flagship to someone who has a better experience and capability which to me is Data.
It maybe I also wanted an excuse to get a T6 Sov, but if We can justify that Shon is on alpha commanding the Flagship where it is needed and they would send a new T6 Sov to the Delta Quadrant with Data commanding it where his experience would play a much vital role on the most unexplored Delta Quadrant then I would be satisfied.

I'm thinking it's slightly more abstract, maybe a hint that an on screen captain will be doing vo, which combined with the TOS enterprise tease would suggest the Shatner theories could be right on the money.
