Couldn't get it to size and couldn't post it here.
Something about the resolution and lighting of this one...Makes it look so much like old TV. Look at the lower section of space dock, does that not scream late 80s-90s television to you?
I never thought of that, thanks! You don't need fancy effects and stuff in a "classic" theme.
"Richard, I'll give you one word of advice, you shouldn't anger a demigod" - Lord Archanfel, Supreme Zoalord and leader of the Chronos Organization in the series Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor series.
To get the shot of the dock, I loaded up the Earth Space Dock interior in the Foundry, placed a platform for my character to stand on, and took the shot. I thought about just putting ground-scale versions of ships in the dock, but we don't have the Constitution available. So I loaded up a empty space may and took screen shots of the two ships there. I then photoshopped each into the shot of the dock, did a contrast/color balance pass, and did some selective blurring to get the depth of field. I also painted out the blue glow from the Constitution's warp nacelles to better match the classic TOS movie look, and painted on the battle scouring onto the saucer and engineering sections.
It says in the rules that "All images must be at least 1920x1080 for submission. Or larger."
But a couple lines lower down, it says that "Images not meeting the size-requirement will not qualify for the grand- prize of being converted into a wallpaper!"
Maybe this is a stupid question but - does every picture have to be at least 1920 x 1080? Or just ones that you want to have a chance of getting first place?

Thanks And you are most welcome! Stealing the Enterprise is like the only scene I liked in Star Trek III

I was trying to decide between a few different pics and ended up watching a bunch of TOS episodes on Netflix. One thing that struck me was that the original Enterprise was always well-lit, no matter how deep in space they were supposed to be. The visual effects of the time (i.e. models hanging by wire) meant that the ship always looked like it was floating leisurely through space. I thought this image captured the iconic look of the original series best.
I'm trying to post the link to Imgur. This is my first entry, and it's telling me I have to be around longer before I can post links.
The Dominion Fleet arrives at DS9, one of the great classic moments in DS9 history.
Also celebrated in STO - and thx to my fleet for assisiting me with the screenshot.
did not edited it, actually not sure what to aftereffect xD
Hah, this would have worked brilliantly if it weren't for the ships parked at DS9. (And the fact that Jem'Hadar fighters are non-canon. So are the heavy escorts, if I'm not mistaken.)
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.

Does anyone know how long you have to be a member of Arc to post links? Or is a post count? I just joined and would like to enter the screenshot contest, but it says I have to be around longer before I can post links.

You should be able to use the "attach image" button. Looks like a dogeared sheet of paper. You can put the link to your pic there, or just use the HTML code.

I tried to do the same thing with mine. Recreated the Opening shot of the Ent-B except with a t6 Excelsior.
