propably is today giweaway bugged .....i dont have any free stuff in "promotion tab" at C-store .....
Go to the APPEARENCE tab and scroll down till ya see it.
It's not in the PROMOTIONS tab because it is a Tailor thingy.

While I appreciate the gifts, do not get me wrong on that point, the fact that so many have pointed at the lack of players on the KDF side as a rationilization for the lack of giveaways/perks/ships for them I have a simple retort. One I have said before, and will continue to say. Treat those factions as equals in these promotions and there is at least a possibility of getting folks interested in playing them. Continually leaving them out, no matter how frequently or infrequently, has the same effect. If you, as a player, were watching the other factions, ones you have tried and did not care for, continually getting new items designed specifically for them, giveaways targeted to only that faction, and such, would you not feel slighted as well? I know I do. I play both Fed and KDF. I play Fed because of situations like this. I am Klingon at heart, always have been, always will be. I feel it is a duty of honor to voice the concerns of those players that feel they are being ignored, even if only ignored in perception. I only ask this, if there is a Fed only giveaway, no matter how minor, make it balance out by doing the same for the KDF and Romulan factions as well.

I didn't have the time to claim the 2 free Promotional Tech upgrades yesterday.
So I planned to get them today, only to find out that the server was down due to an emergency patch and bugfix. When I logged into the game after the downtime, the upgrades were already gone and replaced with the next promo gift.
I know PW and Cryptic have no obligation to give away free stuff, but when people are unable to claim the gifts, due to circumstances caused by them, it doesn't seem fair.
Why not let the free tech-upgrades be available a few hours longer, so that people can claim them after the downtime?
That would have been the right thing to do, just like in other case where the timeframe was extended due to unexpected downtime.
I wanted to use them for one of my less developed alts, so that sucks, especially since I already bought the open uniforms from today's giveaway months ago.
The bigger the Melons, the Smaller the opening. I got this option when I first started playing..only because I used the Sierra tops (which look like leather motorcycle jackets when half zipped)
I hope they give us a T3 or T4 ship for the next giveaway.
I'd be fine with a costume, myself, but the ship thing sounds nice. (Although I must hope and pray it's not one of the ones they gave away before... )
Doubt it. Just grind reduction vouchers from here on out. I think the days of C-store giveaways, are far behind us now.

I figure that once T6 sales slack off, they'll start giving away low selling fleetable T6 ships. I know that I bought a fleet module for my Nebula when they gave that away.

Most likely, something faction-agnostic like a service or a set of low-tier ships.

Actually, usually there's two sets of ships. One low-tier, and one T5. (Though it would be nice if this was upgraded to T6, I won't hold my breath.)
