I have collected my first gift from the promotion tab today but I can not see the preivous 2 gifts, 2 specialisation points and dilithium fleet vouchers. Can I still collect the gifts I have missed?

Nope. After being announced, you have 24 hours to collect the current giveaway item. Beyond that, well... you missed the window and you are only allowed to claim the next.

The upgrade box was very nice. I gave it to one of my lower level alts that I'm leveling up. That way they can get some gear upgraded when I get time to do it. So it will come in handy later.
I slapped mine on her Sol Defense shields, it was just enough to jump it on up to Mk XIV
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
The Specialization Points per toon was good & appreciated. The Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrades were nice, but seemed lackluster since only two & for whole account ... nevertheless nice free gift, but better would've been maybe 1 per toon or something or 4/5 per account. The Fleet dilithium voucher was a nice new approach to the giveaways but really puny since only 20K dilithium & for whole account ... it should've been per toon too. Again though, Cryptic doesn't have to do any of this so anything is a boon. Maybe they'll conclude with something surprisingly "big". It does seem, somehow, they've added even more grind to this anniversary though, but maybe that's just because of all the glitches so far.

They always conclude with a ship, I hope it's t3 or t4.
Today it's... "Open Jacket Uniform" unlock!
Hm...
On one side - it's completly not practical (uniforms are not gear after all), and only usable by Feds.
On the other side - it's account unlock - yay!
This is not a flame post, so please do NOT take it that way.
Folks want to complain there are not enough KDF players... Then things like today happen.
If you only have KDF toons, you get zero, sip, zilch, NADA on certain days of the giveaways.
C'mon, you want more folks to play KDF? you want to make it so they complain less?
Real simple answer is possible..... DO NOT LEAVE THEM OUT OF STUFF!!!! Plain and simple.
If you keep making those players feel like second class or lower, you will eventually run them out of the game entirely, and I am hoping that is NOT the intent.
Too many characters to list but still adding more.......The addiction to this game is real
Today's costume giveaway is back to the old standard way of thinking for Cryptic that I've learn to expect. At least the uniform is account-wide but only for Federation players so still exclusive when it doesn't have to be. Next thing you know Cryptic will give away a T6 ship, but only to certain players & never state the criteria they used to give those away ... oh wait they already did that with the Andromeda. But just like everyone else I'll log-in to see if I already have this uniform & if I don't I'll accept the kind gift. Then I'll go to begin my anniversary grinding. These type of "exclusive" tactics, small & large, is why I stopped investing real $ into STO.

Well... KDF really doesn't have a lot of costumes to give in the first place.
The Andromeda comparison sounds a tad excessive, though.
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
Ah well, got that one years ago and it doesn't work with the uniforms I use now anyway. Thanks all the same, it's the thought that counts. Fingers crossed for the next one
Extra uniform unlocks are always nice! I don't think I've ever actually bought a uniform except for the Vaadwaur uniform from the lobi store, all mine are from giveaways!
Of course, the uniform they give away is the one I bought months ago. Oh well. I hope the next few days are good. I just managed to figure out how to bypass a glitch so I have characters who need the good good stuff
Sadly, the drumbeat of "...the majority of players choose the Federation..." is further perpetuated by deliberately excluding KDF & Romulans from "exclusive" character goodies. Those numbers will not change by denying choices to those who march to the beat of a different drum!

It's a vicious cycle. Cryptic doesn't do much exclusive content for KDF because few people play KDF. And few people play KDF because there isn't a lot of exclusive content.
Is the ship and items account wide unlocks does anyone know ?

Yeh .. it's not like they had 2 patches in the last days and were down for 8 hours or so for the last prize .. ooh .. wait
Fortunately just 2 upgrade things, can mine some extra particles from current event at least
Shall we just change the name of the game to Federation Online or will the KDF actually get something out of this giveaway?
Easy, bud. Four giveaway items so far and this is the only Fed specific one, and just a uniform no less. Nothing to warrant the sharpening of pitchforks just yet lol.
As for the uniforms, it's one I already have, so I don't get anything free today...
Ah well, I'm sure many others will appreciate a free uniform.
Thanks anyway Cryptic.
Edit: Four items, oops forgot about yesterday's tech upgrades, corrected.
As a side note: you can use the open jackets on the Fed BOff you get by completing the Marauding Commendation ... assuming you have a Fed character to claim the jacket unlock with in the first place.
Free stuff is free stuff. It's a bonus. It costs you nothing, that's what "free" means.
Even if it's not something you can use, you're no worse off for getting it. (I got the open jacket uniforms ages ago for my Feds, so today's giveaway is no use to me. Am I downcast? Am I disheartened? No, I'm not - it's just the luck of the draw, and that's all there is to it.)
The only appropriate response to getting a gift is a "thank you" - a polite and perfunctory one if it's not something you can use, or a heartfelt one if it's something you really wanted.
So, from me: thank you, Cryptic. (It's a fairly heartfelt one, actually - I got some use out of the first three days' freebies, and that's pretty good going, it seems to me.)
Crash...crash...crash... That's all that's happened to me since the Anniversary Event. I can't go fifteen minutes without one, and it's not as if I have been doing anything more than checking my doff missions and collecting dilithium in the last few days.
It's a giant fail for me.
And before anyone starts going on about my specs, this is a brand new computer that I am using, and was working fine before Thursday. Nuff said.
This frustration may be the final straw for this f2p player who already took six months away from the game because of this kind of thing before, and who once suffered not being able to log-in for about a month until someone managed to sort out what was wrong with the game for the users that particular bug was affecting.
I thought the game was improving of late, with better storylines, and many of those old bugs getting cleared away, but a couple of things have always bothered me, and now they are starting to frustrate my goals, as well as this batch of constant crashes making the game virtually unplayable.
Dilithium used to be a bit difficult to come by. You either bought it or grafted for it, but with the dilithium events that run now, stock-piling has become easy.
As a f2p player I am, and have been, happy to grind my way to the better gear and ships. That's the price - that's fine - and whilst I'm glad that STO supports players in this respect, who, for whatever reason, don't use their budget for the game, there is an aspect to the system in place that I've always found to be both contrary to that ideal, and to the ethos of Star Trek.
The in-game exchange system is a great way for players to get gear and make EC. However, the fact that the game also subjects its main currencies of Zen and dilithium to a free market, has always struck me as something contradictory to the Star Trek universe.
Whilst STO enables ftp players to play, this system can be used by better off players to squeeze the ftp players of their dilithium in order to get Zen. Dilithium is easy to come by now, so many ftp players can get a lot of it and get their Zen - however this is when those with resources can buy up the lower priced Zen and then sell it at a higher price. With lots of players having lots of dilithium, people are happy to keep paying an ever increasing price - until they are not - and then the crash ensues.
This all takes time and in the meantime, those trying to save enough for the Zen ships, have no idea how long it is going to take them with a constantly rising (or changing) exchange rate. And that is a problem for players like me, who have a life outside the game, and is someone who is not going to suddenly turn into a paying STO player to alleviate this frustration - because that money is being put to better use IRL.
No. this player, who can barely play long enough at the moment and log-in to refine his unrefined dilithium, is simply not going to play the game. If I cannot exchange it for the Zen I need for the ships I need, in order to progress in the game from where I am now, then there is no point in playing.
My point? Simple really. Zen and Dilithium should be regarded as utilities and removed from the exchange system and be fixed-rate items. Set the price as an average of what it has been over the years, but set a fixed-price for it - because I am beyond fed-up of not knowing when I can exchange my ground-out dilithium for the Zen I need.
My Fleet has a party event this weekend, and if I can log in long enough to participate, I will, but after that, I only log to refine dilithium, until that is gone - and if things haven't changed by then, I won't be back.
I'd say live long and prosper, but evidently in STO, that only applies to people who already have the money and resources - and not those trying to get it.

Factually incorrect, the best kind of incorrect.
4 days of giveaways so far, only 1 of them has been Fed-only.
