I like the top down look on Alpha but am not so wild about the side view. I despise the top down ultra wide view on Beta but like the side view a lot more than Alpha. I had to go with Alpha because Beta's dorsal view is just to ugly to build.
For me, it's just got to be Beta. For crying out loud, Alpha's profile looks like a cruise ship with nacelles. [engage friendly banter detectors] You Alpha folks aren't really bad. You're just wrong. [disengage banter detection]
I like four nacelles. Although, I don't care for one set being smaller than the other set. Unless the ship has dual-vector capability. I can't imagine a carrier reflecting that. So four nacelles to identical scale if the design gets that far along.

Alpha, it looks nicer. It's no Omega but it's nice. Plus it has a wide hull and 4 nacelles so it looks more like a carrier than Beta.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Unless this ship is bloody huge and has a detachable saucer section, I don't particularly like the big ovoid fore-hull design. The multiple nacells close to the hull are also nice.
Alpha, just because I prefer the spearhead/triangular style of saucer compared to the large Beta design...it looks too much like one of the Heavy Cruiser variants.
#TeamBeta. I like the rounder saucer and only two nacelles. Have the fighters launch from the bottom center line so the saucer can help sheild during launch.
Beta's saucer looks like it got smushed and I think it looks awkward. Alpha, on the other hand, looks nice and sleek enough that I would be proud rather than embarrassed to be seen in one.

Just for the saucer section and hull. The four nacelles don't do it. Now if you put the Beta nacelles on it that would be the best one.
