Just from the announcement, we are going to break the Temporal Prime Directive and go back into time and kill the three iconians responsible for the attack since the Krenim ship was terrible in the first place. Knowing the Devs, there won't be a peaceful solution and we'll just pew, pew, pew everything and problem solved.

Is there anything out yet about the rewards for today's FE? I'm assuming it's going to be similar to the last few episodes.

At least, there is some "rum*cough*leaks*cough*ors" the final reward will be a
    ancient Iconian outfit

If I'm reading the French posting right, it's your first runthrough of the episode that will give you the reward you have in the spoiler space. Also, said reward appears to have some customization options. The one thing I am not clear on is whether that particular reward is an account-wide unlock or if you have to run the mission on every toon you want it for.

yes, there is nothing about the account-wide unlock. in my opinion, you must do the mission with all your toons to unlock the iconian clothes. (french is my language, and i must say that the translation is meh; this is why i usually read the news in english :p)

Tout à fait, une ligne on nous parle d'un déflecteur, et la suivante d'un bouclier. Toujours aussi forts sur le forum français (c'est d'ailleurs pour ça que je n'y vais jamais, enfin ça et l'activité proche du néant).

(=Indeed, one sentence it's a deflector and the next it's a shield. The level is still very high on the french forums (which is why i never visit them, plus the fact that there is zero posting activity down there).

English is my first language and Spanish is my second...so I have to use my Spanish to muddle my way through things written in French. At least I feel better now about my reading skills. ;)

hehe, yep spanish is useful for understanding the french language ;) i understand spanish, but i have lost my ability to speak this language.

oh! btw: when Finding lascaux 2 will be available. the first mission was awesome. i spent a good moment, thx :)

if my memory is correct, the kobali uniform had to be unlocked by all the toons. Maybe the iconian clothes will be unlocked in the same way.

Didn't you see the trailer for New Dawn? :* Don't worry, story content won't end (For better or worse sometimes. o:) ) until the game itself ends years from now. And actually, I think New Dawn looks sort of promising so far. (Well, fingers crossed anyway. :) )

As Zephram Cochrane once said, "That'll do, pig. That'll do." - April 1st 2015. o:)

Considering the title you get is "peacemaker", I think it's gonna be the opposite.

Maybe the ancient Iconians gives you an artefact to recognize you as the Other before their homeworld is bombed and when you go back to the present, you show it to them and they immediately realize they're about to exterminate the alliance of their savior and L'Miren calls off the attacks, locks T'Ket in an Iconian brig if she can't be reasoned with, and surrenders to the Delta Alliance for all the crimes committed against the galaxy.

At least Spanish helps with French. My second language (if it stretches that far) is Irish, not an awful lot of use for anything really :p.

Let me kill Sela. Let me press my thumbs in that stupid ethaonai idiot's eyeballs til I feel the back of her skull. Billions died and all I got to say was "I hope you learn from your mistakes? A slow disruption would be too good for her right now.

I wanted to throttle her rather than talk to her on earth. Let me hand her to T'Ket.

Well played. Word ate. Question is now, is there different outcomes with this mission or are we pidgeonholed into the kumbaya moment?

Meh quoted the wrong person, this was for lizard.

i have not been on the forums much over the past month since the previous mission. while the previous mission was just horribly dire, this "midnight" mission is a vast improvement in quality and quantity, infact the best mission of the entire iconian storyline. i actually liked it quite a bit and my praise of cryptic has been very sparing since i joined, so if they notice this at all, thats some good work there for this mission.

it still leaves open the possibility of something happening at a later date, what i mean by that? your just gonna have to play the mission. however an obvious hint was dropped before the whole story was finished in that mission, at that moment i didnt need to finish to the mission to realize what will happen, it turns out that was exactly the case on the return trip home.

i was also surprised by the arrival of another race into the warzone i had not been expecting either, at least they are now on the map for sure for future content.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.

Well this ending averted many fears I had, this episode actually ended in true Star Trek spirit! Hopefully we'll be seeing the Iconians around again, this time on slightly more friendly terms, but it also at the same time implies T'ket might be coming for further payback in the future. So that kind of leaves the possibility open we haven't seen the last of them!

    Wow.
That was a Trek-ish ending. Enjoyed the climactic fight around Sol, was blaring "Mars, Bringer of War" on my speakers, and the right parts kicked in at the right moments. :D Seeing what the Iconians were was pretty awesome too. And they've managed to develop Sela into quite an interesting villain. I wonder what's next for her. Probably a war crimes tribunal on a massive scale. I WOULD hope this would change her perspective, I like the character, but I can't speak for the rest of the Federation, RR, and least of all other players. I mean, she MADE T'Ket what she is. And got the personal grudge against the Romulans going. That's what revenge gets you.

Now, I also find it a little too predictable that the whole "closed time loop" thing did happen. I'm hoping for better in the next season. Come on, writers! I know you can do it, just think of something unexpected.

I think we'll be seeing T'ket again in the near future...

Sort of. T'ket seemed dark and corrupt the moment you met her. Willing to let her people die for being weak.
