And Kanril Eleya's would result in scripting fail by Cryptic, since the Bajorans are an Alliance species, not a Terran one (the Terrans are to the Mirror Bajorans what the Cardassians were to the Prime Bajorans, which is why Mirror Leeta is such a wallbanger), but I doubt Cryptic is going to care enough to give Bajoran characters the KDF version of the mission. Mirror Kanril is the XO of a Cardassian battleship.

I dare say even if they did care enough their tools wouldn't allow for it. Which is a shame because it means one way or another a lot of people (likely the majority) will be let down if there is a mirror player mission.

I think you run into some weird issues the other way with this topic because the Mirror counterparts seem identical and then you raise the issue of sexuality not being biologically programmed. My personal take is that it probably is genetic in most cases, there might be hormonal or epigenetic triggers, it CAN be a choice for some people (if they're naturally bi and want to repress one part), and that there is a spectrum with more than a few "factory settings" that can be adjusted at different points. There's also the issue of the stereotypical bisexual=evil take. Then you have the Buffy comics controversial question of whether a straight person can enjoy a homosexual relationship without being bisexual.
That last point is kind of what a lot of the thinking with the DS9 actors was. Nana Visitor didn't see Mirror Kira as bisexual (ie. she wasn't attracted to women) but she'd have a fling with someone she had no orientation towards as a form of narcissism. This can draw various responses but I think it simultaneously rings true for the story while being something folks in the audience might not be comfortable with or might take as a sign of bisexual/homosexual erasure. That said, for the character, I think the point is that the Intendant would do anything that pumps up her own ego and is not representative of actual orientation. And I lean towards the idea that romantic relations just don't have the same meaning in the Mirror Universe. We only see one married couple that I can remember and they didn't seem to have a lot of love. Romance is just not a major concept in their culture nor is it a major part of why people get together over there.
I think this even goes back to Sulu/Uhura and the Captain's Woman concept. It's about making people feel good for advancement and everyone is kind of a sociopath there. So, culturally, I think any orientations we have in reality are repressed in the Mirror Universe in favor of mercenary ego boosts. Orientation doesn't seem to factor into people's romantic hook up choices there. Which doesn't mean regular Leeta can't be bi. I just don't know that our concept of orientation applies to these people because they act on ego gratification, not orientation.
Well.... one of my characters is FROM them mirror universe so... this would be more a question of what her non-mirror counterpart is like. I guess she'd be someone who actually serves the Founders.... Eridian doesn't care about them at all.
I have one costume slot changed on my main to be the mirror version. Get the MU title & the ZC shotgun together with an MU sovy. Due to personal story reasons the Mirror of my char later ended up as Boff on my ship.

I made a mirror universe version of my main when the Delta Recruit event was on, have the exact same bridge officers (albeit with shorter hair and less clothing), ships and loadout too, just with a bit of yellow on my Defiant and with the vigilant cannon pieces on it

I always wanted to see what happened in the universe where the Borg won.
My best guess is that in that universe they failed to save Picard from the Borg and in the process never learned how to beat the Borg.

But that said.. We have almost never seen the Borg actually assimilate anything and use it themselves. Adapt to weapons fire and stuff like that - sure. But, say, seeing them use a Federation phaser weapon or whatever fancy stuff they hoped to get from the Federation... Never.
People are surprised that the Borg in Butterfly finally used cloak - but maybe their technology assimilation process is not actually instant knowledge, but actually rather than inefficient and they need a lot of sample data to actually copy a technology - which most cloak-using species, and certainly the Romulans, refuse to give them.

Well, Seven of Nine made several comments about Borg technical adaptation in Voy that seem relevant. First is that the Borg start by looking at which aspects of a technology are superior to what they have, and then finding a way to integrate those into their existing tech. It's apparently rare for them to copy a technology completely. Thus in most cases I wouldn't expect to see them actually use assimilated tech at all.
Second is that maybe the Romulans are the first race to have solved certain theoretical problems related to cloaking Borg tech? Cubes are HUGE and we know that size matters when cloaking.
It would be interesting to see what I would look like as a diplomat and peaceful explorer who hasn't commited genocide and slaughters thousands on a daily basis. You know. A good guy.

I have created Mirror Universe versions of all my toons except my Klingon Fed toon, because he probably is regent in The Mirror Universe. I actually played a foundry episode where one of my toons encountered their counterpart!
The Mirror Universe equivalent of my main is the very definition of "sexy, evil Betazoid". She's the Chief Political Officer aboard the USS Excalibur. If you're familiar with Babylon 5, think the female Psi-Cop Kelsey and you'll have the right idea.
I like to think the divergence occured late 40's early 50's where mirror kirk goes back in time and kills JFK only to assume his place, He starts to build for space exploration which des succeed however in the prime universe Prime Kirk succeeds in assassinating him in dallas, alas in the mirror universe he fails - allowing bad kirk to reign free using his nuclear arsenal to unite the planet through knowlage fear and tyranny and to set up a lunar sub-space beacon to lure 20th century romulans into the throw of things and assume their tech.
