Speaking of POKE, did you know there's a Pokemon with a Leek too?! It's Farfetch'd, kamo negi in Japanese, which basically means 'duck [with] negi' (green onion, the Japanese Leek).

It's been going for around 20-30 minutes now and only on 24.7MB - 1% Received! :eek:

oh the nostalgia! hearing the dial up connect. dial up noise, tone, then a lot of noise before promptly stopping. lasting 2 hours before its disconnected. back then playing star trek armada demo on multiplayer..

Download size 3851 MB. Just did a speed test of over 40Mbps. This patch is barely moving so definitely not our side of things. With such a huge patch this should have been offered the way the season update was. When I shut down it would download a bit at a time. Unless this is an intentional attempt to limit the game server. Imagine they expected a huge crowd for the first day of the summer event.

Poking is my preferred generic non-specific term for getting someone's attention. It can infer a lot of things! A light tap on the shoulder, a brief email or instant message, or me barreling down a hallway with a batleth screaming for justice.
When just using the standars luancher It's slow as all hee 5 % in an hour. Relanched the game throught Arc and dwn its already at 35% in just a couple minutes.
I really wish people would stop complaining that this patch is moving slowly. Frankly, I'd be dancing if it was moving slowly as that would be a major improvement at this point. :-)
Oh well, guess it's time to read a couple more chapters of War and Peace.....

Glad to read that Trendy going all out Jack "The Shining" Nicholson with a batleth produced the desired fix, but alas too late for me as work now beckons. Risa will have to wait for another day.

Anyone who closes the launcher and restarts patching will have the issue fixed.
Note that patching will APPEAR to start over, but it really is continuing from where it left off.
Same size for me and I've seen slugs lurch foward faster than this download bar is moving. I'm still at 0% after about 5 min. Sweet launch Cryptic..
