mission says completed and goes to Thirst for vengeance, then when you finish that and leave system, it resets back to roadblocks

    can confirm

pause, turbolift, time countdown , workaround works

I have now twice played through Roadblocks. I get to the end where I defeat the Klingon attackers, my XO says the mission is complete and to warp to sector space... but when I warp out, the mission is not completed, and it's as if I aborted the mission. That is, in Argelius I get the prompt to Continue: Roadblocks, and if I do, it starts me at the beginning of the mission again.

I'm having this exact same bug issue.

I've found a reliable workaround for the bug. Team up with another player and run the mission together. After performing the inspection, head for the turbolift, but go through one at a time. By having a player in both the main deck and the cargo bay at the same time, the mission will correct its self and successfully record your progress.

If someone in the group didn't get the completed mission, run through again, but have the player with the bugged mission stay behind on the main deck when you head to the turbolift.

    That should fix it.

I can confirm that this worked for me

use the pause, when get to turbolift, press turbolift, wait for it to timeout. that fixes it.

So someone posted about grouping to bypass the bug.

    This method worked for me:

When you're standing at the turbolift next to the artifact:

    1. Pause the zone.
    2. Click the turbolift.
    3. Unpause the zone.

Finish the mission as normal after that point and it should clear.

Can confirm this worked for me too

The "pause before the turbolift warkaround" worked for me. I noticed there was an achievement (Threadbare Trading Post?) that popped up ONLY after I tried the pause method. Looks like getting that achievement out of the way may be part of the completion trigger? The first 3 times I ran the mission, nowt, after the pause and achievement pop-up, completed normally. Thanks for the workaround!

Broken for me too. This is sad. Hailed as fresh and new - same old bugs. They gotta do better, it was fun up until that point.

we shouldn't have to do those little work arounds on missions. But I too am having this issue. :\

My investigation shows that this is a load-related race condition, meaning it will not generally show up under normal tests, only when lots and lots of people are playing the mission at the same time. I've put in some data updates that force the mission to proceed in steps that should make it more robust about guaranteeing completion credit.

So it's some kind of server lag issue?

The pause trick doesn't work for me. I got the artifact the first time through, and can replay it every time I go by, so that's not it.

Confirming this "workaround" ... after 2 attempts at the mission, this did it for me on the 3rd run.

What i ended up doing is after killing final fight, right when the depart the system pop up comes up, closed that out, then i hailed starfleet before departing system, that was the only i could get it to work. gave me the credit and the next leg ofthe story arc before i went back to sector space. not sure if it was a fix or i was just lucky after 5 tries of redoing that mission.

I did the pause trick (and got the accodale, first time in five attempts), *and* I collected the reward before leaving the system.

There should be some kind of helper site that lists all the workarounds to the bugs.

People get annoyed with duplicate threads when the other thread was at the top of the non-stickies. So clearly no searching had gone on etc..
No offense, but "clearly" nothing--you or they really have no way of knowing what terms I searched for or what that search returned, and when I looked at the forum list I didn't see anything on the first page. It's possible I overlooked something or didn't recognize the thread title, but that's a mistake made in good faith, not attention-seeking.

The only matter in this thread of any significance is that the issue got a dev response and we have a workaround. I give less than zero fraks about whose thread made it happen.

You'll get through daily life a lot less annoyed by other people's actions if you refrain from (usually wrongly) assuming the worst of their motivations.

For the devs who are investigating this issue, I noticed that the Iconian tech-related BOff dialogue triggers after going through the lift. I picked up the device and stood around to see if it would trigger on a time limit, but it always seemed to trigger after going through the lift.

Considering that this dialogue (and the iconian tech) weren't there before the problem occurred, I would suspect the problem lies in that area.

I suspect that the pause trick will work for you. The mission's not bugged at all for me, except for the fact that it won't complete. I got the iconean artifact the first time, and dude appeared to talk about it right on schedule. Didn't help.

Worked for me. Hooray!! Load related...smh...probably why it's broke to begin with.

    On a side note though:

I heard about this workaround and decided to drop the mission and restart a new. When finishing the bar scene fight, I, for some reason got turned around in the bar and decided to run back to where I was at the start of the mission yet when the door opened I saw a picture of space instead of another room. ??? Stared at it a minute then ran back to where I could access the turbolift.
