Nice mission but server knock outs numerous...No que to disarm spatical bombs..Repawned at least ten times...Gave up...

Did you read the explanation? You have to be at just the right distance, hit F, then move to just the right distance again, hit F then move to the bomb and hit F a third time
Also I noticed that it seems like the final step requires all players to be inside the green circle or something.
Really nice mission, although when your "Uneasy Ally" asks "Isn't this more important than shooting me?" I'd like to have said "No." and shot her. Not necessarily lethally, but painfully.
On the other hand, I also think Taris deserved better. At least she had good intentions, which is more than you can say for certain other empresses I could name...
But a very enjoyable mission, overall, and MUCH less distasteful than any of the Kobali nonsense.
The armor, by the way, really IS one per character (which is a shame, as I was hoping to outfit my entire Romulan away team with it). I just thought I'd post that confirmation here, as I believe someone earlier in this thread asked for such confirmation. I hope they remove that restriction later.
And solid acting from Denise Crosby (as usual). Sela was much better written this time around, too, so I retract my earlier comment about the character having outlived her story value.
a message from command (via an admiral) is patched through to your combadge while on an away mission and intercepted by a suspected accomplice of the next great threat to galaxy. I'm not sure which I have more trouble with...command asking to be put through or my captain excepting?

Sela didnt intercept it..she just happened to be there when you took the call...and you superior officer is asking to be put through...you don't have much choice.
Your pain runs deep.
Let us explore it... together. Each man hides a secret pain. It must be exposed and reckoned with. It must be dragged from the darkness and forced into the light. Share your pain. Share your pain with me... and gain strength from the sharing.
so the first enemy i ran into....
Mogai Heavy Warbird deals 50451 (136654) Kinetic Damage(Critical) to you with Plasma Torpedo - Heavy II.
so i respawned, blew it up, then dropped the mission.
what is the point of new content that people don't enjoy, unless it is to enhance your credentials as clowns?
It was nice to see Cryptic backpedal from having the entire Romulan Star Empire military be Tal Shiar, by having some Imperial Navy NPCs in the mission...although of course we immediately gunned down these fleetingly rare unicorns of the Star Empire...
There really needed to be more dialogue options for the mission though. The objectives and dialogue was as linear as can be, even for a STO episode.
The dialogue was exactly the same for me no matter what toon I was playing, and there was really no opportunity to RP in this mission.
There were a lot of questions I had for Sela and Taris. I was sorely disappointing there were not any opportunities to ask them...particularly with Taris considering how her 'storyline' resolved (seriously, we waited all this time for her to appear again...for this?)

same difference and not buying it. bad bit of dialogue on that one. it makes the federation look tactless and conniving.
Have played through with several of my 'toons, but have been unable to replay the mission after completing and getting the first rewards. After completing the mission, if you hail the contact it appears that the mission is already in progress, but it is not. Is there a reason for not allowing replays after a reasonable (maybe 20 hour) cool down? I for one would like to be able to grab the second available item (the weapon) that is available this week.

It's kinda like talking on the phone. If you're standing next to someone they're going to be able to hear you. In this case, it's a communication device that is more like using Skype on a tablet PC. So people could look over oyur should and SEE Quinn (or whoever) as he's talking to you.

I understand that, but in what context would a starfleet admiral request to communicate with a captain in the field over their combadge? That doesn't seem a bit nonchalant to you?
Not a bad mission, I do like the direction Cryptic are going with the story line... even if it is a little unlike what you would expect from a serialised show. One thing though, I'm getting a little tired of running into Sela escaping from prison/detention every episode. Can we have some more Obisek or Shon action please? Would be nice to see the Big E in action again (and not just a cameo appearance either).
Keep it up Cryptic, I want to pew pew all those Iconian ships.

Work from the mission select UI, not the "hail" button on the event tab (the one opposite "transwarp"). You can certainly replay the mission but I do believe that after the first instance the special hail button no longer serves any useful purpose.

I should probably wait until tomorrow to ask this, but are there any hidden items / locations / loot in Uneasy Allies like there was the Kbali boff in Dust to Dust?
I like the story and I enjoy the plot. Or rather: I would, if I was graciously given the chance to complete the mission!
The Uneasy Allies is BBB - Bugged Beyond Belief  Last week, I succeeded on my second trial. Today, I've tried four times now, and none of them were successful: every time the mission locked itself due to an obvious bug (eg. all enemies cleared in a room, but story won't advance; clicking on a console is required, but it's non-clickable, etc.).
We need to track down Sela! She's gone missing and we need to get to the bottom of this. Learn about some of the new rewards in our latest Featured Episode.
I actually liked hating Sela in this one. The humor was better than normally and the script was better than usual also. Kudos to the writing staff and to Ms Crosby. Also the Character emotions were great. Loved when Sela pointed at the bug and screamed "Kill itttt!" or "Hakeve was so melodramatic". Great Job.
Ok i was a little happy to see that they were going to make the pistol very rare and not a blue rare so when i logged in today i was excited to see what the stat improvements were to then realise that they never bothered to actual improve the pistol if you already had it and grinded for it on the 1st week. Now i am going to have to redo the mission all over again a extra time yet again as well as the redo for the next item available each week which wouldn't bother me too much but i was hoping to be spending time on my new Delta recruit like they want us to but instead i am wasting time redoing the FE mission for all my other toons because they never considered those of us who tried to plan ahead.
Thanks again Cryptic you managed to annoy me yet again with your thoughtless ideas
Unable to pass the hobus base because doors are locked and no clickable console after all enemy is cleared in the room.. can we have a patch that just work?

What concerns me is that if the Iconians ARE going to be the McGuffin of STO much like the way the Lich King was the story-driving Boss in World of W*ar*craf*t, then what's to happen once the Iconians are beatable? We all know how W*o*W went downhill after Arthas was beatable in WoTLK.
IMO, they should be like the Master or the Daleks in Dr Who; often thwarted but never beaten.
And also IMO, I'm still in the camp that thinks the Iconians were scapegoated for all the ills of millennia ago. As Picard said, "History is written by the Victors". Just too bad we cannot consult Steve Gerber (the co-writer of the TNG "Contagion" episode, and thus the creator of the Iconian race) since he passed away in 2008.

Any chance of some Romulan themed armor visuals?
So.... Why is the shield a COMMON WHITE?

Wait, they never brought back the Kobali set? TRIBBLE.
Restart that mission....
One of them disappears and you can't progress in the mission.
