The kool-aid is right over there--- oh, I see your cup is already full. Cheers.
I'm full of kool-aid when it comes to anything related to the D'Deridex. I've been eagerly awaiting a T6 version of that ship, and levelling up the mastery will be so laughably easy that I won't even notice doing it.
And the price? That's a major factor that seems to have been forgotten in this blog - how much do they cost? I assume indiviually 3k Zen, goes without saying. But the cross faction bundle? I'm hoping 6k.
I'm just gonna get my anger out of the way now: frak these ships and the idea of making Fleet variants in the future! I'm still waiting on the Fleet variants of the Intelligence ships! I don't believe you devs for a second that you're gonna get around to making Fleet variants of these ships if you can't even give us the Fleet variants of ships that should have been released AT MOST a month after the launch of Delta Rising!
Also, these stats are weak! The Kobali Cruiser (which you got for FREE!) is overall a better T6 cruiser AND has Fleet stats! FRAK THESE SHIPS!
Patience (or forbearing) is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on negative annoyance/anger; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can take before negativity.

Well the new t6 D'deridex looks in shape very similar to a fat mogai, but still looks very good.
Got to say that the romulan faeth/command ships and the t6 D are the best looking ships released in this time - a nice difference considering the ugly and totatly not fitting ships that a rom toon has to pick on lvl 50.
Still the move with the fleet already will be made (vs the command ships you just released - even if on fleet lvl these iconic ones will have more hp and so on) is kinda meh considering they wont be cheaper then the command ones!
And to it i dont understand what is so new about the t6 and more work to do on them that they cost so much more when its exacly the same work like it is for years now.
Now lets wait for the iconic return of the defiant and prometeus or nebula/Mogai and /t'varo with Scimi/bop with vor'cha and k'tinga
----
Also the big D has probably the best boff seating (now can go easy a2b if someone rly needs it) and has ltcom sci and tac to it kinda good considering sing cores are making the rom cruisers subpair to their enemy counterparts
This boats are awesome!Similar but not the same, I very much like the more Tac heavy Negh'Tev witn a turn of 9 and Enhanced Weapon Banks. A true Battlecruiser  I have two questions:
Is it a typo/swap or are the Hullstrength of the Negh'Tev and the Dridthau intendet?
I sume the Negh'Tev has cloack s the D'ridthau battlecloak, like it is usual for their factions or am I wrong?
I see no reason for people to complain. They handed people a damn Galaxy super tank with enough DPS to throw at everything.
If anything, the one negative there it seems is that the Negh'Tev got the shaft in the set bonus department since I see no mention of a set bonus for it there. Blame the lack of desire of the devs to make KDF ships and consoles.
Yeah but that's because they didn't want to make a lockbox ship have differences depending on the faction of the character that claimed it. Whenever they've done variants of the same ship since, like the dyson destroyers for example, the romulan and KDF versions have had cloaks, and they haven't done faction specific lockbox prizes since.
Also, question; I already own a T5-U Fleet D'Deridex, with it's associated Fleet Material. Will this be available on the DKhellra, or will I need to get the Fleed DKhellra to re-unlock it?
You're just a machine. And machines can be broken.

As always the Fed faction gets handed the keys to heaven and still complain.
I see no reason for people to complain. They handed people a damn Galaxy super tank with enough DPS to throw at everything.
I see complaints that it doesn't come with 4 (or even 5?!) tac consoles. Why would anyone have any expectation that the Galaxy would come with more tac consoles? It's always been engie-centric.
im liking these.. rom and kdf i'll def be using, so may as well buy the full pack and get the extra costume and console for my fed eng. that neghtev is 'strawberry laces' awesome!! ok, it has no set bonuses, is lumbered with extra crew and will suffer, marginally, in the hull department.. but.. with a turn rate of 9 and dual heavy cannons.. it is going to be a beast!!
Amusingly, the D'Deridex has a Lt.Cmdr Science slot. I guess the Romulan Republic understands the value of science.
Now all the RR need is a competitive Science vessel.
Beta, LTA, CE, Multiple preorder Versions, all Addon Packs except AoY, nearly all KDF/Rom and ~50% of all Fedships, over 25 LockboxShips, Endurer of Atari's "Year of Hell", but...

There are better cruisers out there though already so I dont really see them getting handed the keys to heaven with this, and the Klingons do at least get a decent turn rate out of it.
Where the hell are fleet versions of intel ships? If these pretty-looking-no-dps ships can get fleet versions right away fleet versions of intel ship are long overdue.
I've been wondering the same thing. Not going to get any of these 3 but a fleet phantom is overdue.
No real reason to delay them after this. Slap them to Tier 4 shipyards, because you slapped these Iconic Ships to Tier 4 shipyards, and let us fly around in fleet intel ships finally.
Galavant!

We've practically begged for this for 3 years! There are like 15k posts debating the Galaxy Class and giving ideas across several threads!!!
Get your facts straight folks,
THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF CRYPTIC DOING SOMETHING RIGHT!!!
Everyone should be happy about a iconic hero ship getting the treatment it deserves, regardless if you like it or not, if you're buying it or not.
Once again, I sincerely thank you Cryptic for finally giving us a good Galaxy Class to enjoy!!! And now, for the first time since season 8, my wallet has opened again. Keep doing the right things and we'll all help STO thrive.
I'm sold on the D'deri. Not much of a difference from the Fleet T5U, but I'll gladly make use of that Lt. Universal station.
Although I must say, I'm quite disappointed with the Negh stats. Just a single tactical station? That gives it max 4 tac abilities with the ensign universal. Not great if you want to mount cannons on that thing. Pitty, because the ship looks great and I'd like to fly it, but I think I'll stick with my Fleet Tor'Kaht T5U, if only for that additional tac station.

This right here.
Jeez, I was one of the few that would have preferred a Lt. Cmdr. Sci over Tac but honestly, this is pretty much exactly what y'all have been asking for when it came to the Galaxy, and man Cryptic came through.
(I shudder to see the amount of Tac that a T6 Dread would have, now.)
A: Yes! Each of these ships gain +1 Engineering console slot and +10% Maximum hull hit points and +10% Maximum shield capacity. They will be made available upon release of these three new ships. They are unlocked upon reaching tier 4 in your starbases shipyard.
It should be noted that Fleet Tier 6 ships do not come with a 5th level of Starship Mastery and thus do not have a Starship Trait.
We get fleet Tier 6 already of these, but not of intel ships?
So they are setting the precedence that t6 do not have the trait. You have to C store buy the ship top get the trait. Can't use 5/6/7 fleet modules. not happy
Happy as I was about this release, I do find these stats to be pretty underwhelming. I'd LOVE to fly a Negh'Var instead of a command BC, but at the same time, I'd need something better than this. In return for an Lt. tac BOFF slot, a hangar, 5k hull, 1k less crew and, I'd get much more of an Engineer focus than anybody really needs or wants at this point in the game. I'd be much more inclined to buy it if the Com. and Lt. Com. Eng BOFF slots could be changed to Com. and Lt., with its ensign universal slot being made Lt..
I mean, I guess I could make this work, but man...
Also, I'd pretty much HAVE to get the fleet version right away for it to be meaningful, which would mean no trait and no console. This is no bueno.
Also #2; with this we'll have TWO Fleet Negh'Var versions in the game. I guess this isn't necessarily bad by itself, but it'd be nice if the new Negh'Var did something different from the old one instead of just being exactly the same but much better.
These are pretty good. Though there does need to be a tier 5 Negh'Var refit with a console so that the tier 6 version can at least have a 2 piece console set. Also these ships should be modeled after the Galaxy Dreadnought with a hanger bay and each having a weapon equal to the spiral beam lance (and the option in ship customization to add a third warp nacelle to the andromeda class). The Negh'Var will have those big weapon pods after all and when it shot at DS9 on TV it looked like a very powerful blast (from 2 beams) and it would only make sense that the federation would aim to improve upon the most advanced version of the galaxy class currently in service with is the Galaxy-X Dreadnought.
What's with the KDF getting the 2500 crew. I'll take the Andromeda's 1000. Also did they name the price, is it some sort of secret or maybe it hasn't been decided yet?
Lol, well:
"With a total of 42 decks, the USS Enterprise-D was twice the length and had eight times the interior space of the Constitution-class ships of over a century earlier; she carried a combined crew and passenger load of 1012"
"However, with a length of nearly 700 meters and a crew of 2,500, the Negh'Var-class is substantially bigger than the Vor'cha-class"
Frankly, they're keeping true to canon, even if it means the KDF's ship gets screwed over.

N/m, read it wrong. All I can say to that is; Wow.
I will be saving my zen for the tire 6 bop I guess.

I'm sure that's just an accidental omission in the blog. I really doubt that they'd go without their cloaks.
Would have been thematically very fitting, and something useful for everyone.
Well they have with the Lockbox Temporal so .....
