and when i beamed out, i can not return to mission
you can return in the mission, you must travel to the Nopada system (psi velorum), but you lose a part of the mission.
this is a good mission, Denise crosby is great, and the scenario is not boring, but really interesting, and open the door for the new stfs.
the only problem is 2 bugs; death in the maze -> respawn on the platform, impossible to return in the previous room. the second bug is the missing Sela.
A work aornd for now if you get stuck at the edge is to beam out then go to Napada in Psi Velorum and continue the mission.
Your pain runs deep.
Let us explore it... together. Each man hides a secret pain. It must be exposed and reckoned with. It must be dragged from the darkness and forced into the light. Share your pain. Share your pain with me... and gain strength from the sharing.
I ran into the same problem. Got past the beam room then thought there might be an accolate for jumping from the platform. I died and when I respawned Sela had disappeared. So I cound't continue the mission, had to beam up and warp to the napada system. I tried to continue the mission there and beamed back down to the planet only to witness the end of the episode. Appearently I missed a good part of the story... (the whole escape from the andromeda galaxy).
We're looking into the issues with respawn issue and Sela occasionally not appearing (she's simply too sneaky for her own good).
In terms of Sela, a current work around until we get our fix tested is to leave the map and fly back to the mission's system, then continue to play and you should be able to continue.
When i hail the contact for the new uneasy allies mission it says its already in progress but it does not show as in progress on my mission log, i don't have the mission and there's no way i can drop it and pick it up again because its not in my log. When i go to the hobus system the only thing that shows up are the two top foundry missions the planet info and the button to start the new mission are gone. Anyone else have this problem?
Free Mk XII ground set. Good for alts. Cool. Coolcoolcool.
No weapon though. Perhaps i will combine this set with the flamethrower
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

We're looking into the issues with respawn issue and Sela occasionally not appearing (she's simply too sneaky for her own good).
Assuming you do manage to fix it, will the fix go live before the next weekly patch? I'd prefer to complete the mission uninterrupted, so I'd like to wait until it's fixed rather than use the walkaround, but I don't want to miss out on the tech upgrade for this week.

This does not work, the game points to "unknown dyson sphere", and when i try to head there in sector space the ship will just fly around in circles, and there are no interacts whatsoever with the hobus system.
Also had an issue of dying and then spawning behind an impassable locked door.
Ran it again on my other Fed in the hopes of finding a bug fix. Hopefully this data is helpful to the devs.
Played through most of the mission flawlessly until we reached the Unknown Sphere. We go into the initial cutscene with Taris, who is not present until after she's said her lines, at which point her sprite falls out of the sky and runs away. We clear the swarmers and unlock the door. When I begin to move through it, Sela continues to stand at the console and does not follow me, but she does give me instructions for the collimator room.
I order my boffs to stand off to the side. None of them budge.
Figuring I've hit a pathing error, I beam up. The game tells me to go to the Unknown Sphere to resume the mission. I go to the sphere and nothing happens. I then go to Nopada and can resume the mission.
When I resume the mission, Taris is again absent for the initial cutscene until she falls out of the sky and runs. I go for the door. I reach it before Sela, and she begins to say her next two lines over top of each other in a jumbled mess. We unlock the door. I go through and Sela again doesn't follow me, and my boffs refuse to respond to waypoints once I hit the collimator room.
I beam up and retry.
Third attempt. Taris again falls out of the sky in mid-cutscene. I let Sela go to the door first and try not to jump her dialogue. We unlock the door. Sela again does not follow me through, and my boffs again stop moving once I get inside the collimator room.
Something seems to be borking up around the sequence involving the door lock before the collimator room.
P.S: Hey guys, insulting the devs is not helping. I'd suggest civilly posting a step-by-step of what you were doing when the mission went off the rails.

True location of the "end" point is Nopada. Go there and it will complete.
So I died in the Sphere and respawned in an area I couldn't escape from. After beaming up it appears I can no longer return to my last checkpoint because there is no "Continue Mission" prompt at the Hobus system.

Unfortunately, the devs didn't make this mission too player friendly.
I honestly can't believe the mission would launch with such huge glaring bugs.
Honestly though this is par for the course here isn't it.
but NO... it wasn't : just quiit after 3 tries in the laser room... closed door when you respawn.
i'm desperate to see one day a new stuff working correctly...
i quit for today... i'll see in next days if this stressing bug is fixed or not...
may the force be with sto's players, they'll need it !

If you've completed it on one character, you don't get the reward again on that account... it'll be in the R&D tab anyway.
DITTO!!
Off to a great start!
Me too.
Dont get much time with new kid either and this doesn't help!
