Game is dying ,i will give it 6 more months.Instead of content u give us few new maps, and grinding 4 life, some bugs in the game are 3 years old and you still haven't fixed them,PVP is broken ....not a suprise wasn't even working in the 1st place..nice job on that one,may i ask what you did or even few litlle changes to pvp?? NOTHING, just like the other ton of bugs in the game, also maps that nobody plays, stop adding more and more money grab's and fix something, why woud we even spend money for a broken game, and btw if anyone noticed they are releasing one ship better than the other, mansa < new jhas and probably even more in the future, instead of giving us the freedom to chose what ship we want to fly and personally customize it to our liking, maybe bad example but let say constitution.Stop messing up the game and start listening to the community PWE, if you keep that up STO wont last very long.
Stop deleating and avoiding the negative comments and actually listen to them, some of them realy have great ideas about how to improve STO,but you keep messing it up, like the new t6 ships, game is becomming more and more pay to win for pvp and pay to play for pve.
Are you even testing out the new stuff that you are releasing ???Also if you are doing livestream reviews for new ship's and least give it to somebody that play's the game. I mean SMIRK is a good guy but he cant show the ship/build properly.

if SS3 ever stops being twice as good as CRF3, this would pretty easily be the best 4 fore weapon escort. LTC intel is still pretty great, OSS3 is a pretty great DPS booster. in any non ST pve the ability to use GW will be handy, CSV and torp spread with the AP torp should blow through mob groups well.

a universal LTC and LT hasn't been seen since the temporal ships, with that you tend to be able to do just about whatever you want with a ship. might be difficult to fit 5 different schools of station power on it.

so, not the extreme edge case the old bug was in its prime, but still like in the top 3 in every escort category.

Interesting.. and here I was expecting it to be a 5/2 ship.

So.. this is basically a Phantom/Faeht without cloak/intel powers, a command seat instead of a second intel, and a Bastion-like invulnerability console - I'm curious how long it actually lasts and if it provides debuff immunity like the RIM.

Or is the console more along the lines of the Metaphasic Shields?

I'm still sure that they're just about to announce if the upgrade from JHAS to JHSS will be for free or for some lobi or zen.

They have advertised JHAS as would be T6 the last time it was around, I really don't expect them not to keep to the main reason most people were opening those packs...

The whine here, and in all the other JHSS threads, is VERY strong indeed. Methinks I shall need more popcorn. This is quite entertaining.

I've always wanted a JHAS but any on the exchange are way way to over priced for me and I hate the fact that both new and old JHAS are locked behind a gamble pay wall.

I do feel sorry for those who own the current JHAS wish I was one :( .....(well not so much now)

I'm actually not really impressed enough to go for this one.

As far as Tier 6 ships go, I like the 5-forward weapon slots of the Klingon T6 raptor.

If they don't for those on the US...you can always complain about "false advertisement" with the BBB (Better business bureau)...at least they can "help" with some civil disputes or at least shame them for not keeping their word. :D

With the release of Star Trek Online: Delta Rising, this starship (either from this run of the promotion or from previous runs) will be upgradeable to Tier 6 starship capabilities at no cost

That will still happen but in STO 2.0 :D

And people still can't get it through their thick heads if they meant T6...they would of flat out said T6...not T6 Capabilities...not T6 Like...not nothing but T6.

T6 Capabilities = improved hull and shields and 11th console slot.

Why should anyone care? It will just be followed with the T7 JHSS, and then the T8 JHSS. More expansions will serve to simply invalidate old content so the same thing can continue to be sold or offered as gambling prizes again and again.

Tacofangs was right when he said we should view the items sold by this company as short-term items only.

    So please explain how

    "T6 Capabilities"
    is different from
    "t5-u"

Seeing as the only time they ever used the term "T6 Capabilities" was when they had a previous r&d Promotion going on... one where people where saying, WHY bother trying to get a Bug ship with T6 coming.

Which prompted them to add the T6 Capabilities line... which was obviously a complete and utter lie.

    They are in violation of California law;

"(1) Passing off goods or services as those of another."
" (7) Representing that goods or services are of a particular standard, quality, or grade, or that goods are of a particular style or model, if they are of another."
" (9) Advertising goods or services with intent not to sell them as advertised."
" (17) Representing that the consumer will receive a rebate, discount, or other economic benefit, if the earning of the benefit is contingent on an event to occur subsequent to the consummation of the transaction."

this only confirms me in my decision to uninstall the client for good yesterday after not playing for a year or more (how long ago was Legacy of Romulus? played that, then quit, thought i might come back so kept the client around but... naaaah)

Cryptic still manages to up the level of disgust i have for their business practices.
first they outdate all my C-Store Ships with this Tier 6 stuff that only a minority on the forum had ever asked for and now they start to outdate Lockbox Ships that some people have spend hundreds if not thousands to get their hands on.
Yepp pissing off the few big spenders that you rely on will surely turn out great in that annual report to PWE.

i'm honestly surprised that there isn't more hate in the comments about this, either the moderators clean up real good, or the people that are still around just don't care anymore to fight back, when i was still active here this would have been a 50 page rage thread.

A trait is a capability. The T5U should get this as well. You could also argue the same for the intel/command seating as those are T6 capabilities of your boffs. They clearly made a mistake here. I don't think it's lying as such because they've made a lot of similar mistakes in the past.

Well go ahead...define T6 capabilities to me.

Not saying it isn't perhaps a little questionable what they did and people obviously fell for it...but there were plenty of people who could read between the lines.

This time they have clearly tried to legally protect themselves. In another statue it it mentions a time frame loophole for false advertising... to the effect that if I place an add claiming a bunch of BS, and then sell the product down the road I can't be help accountable for the BS I stated more then 3 months prior. So I could market a product and not sell it for a year claiming all sorts of BS... as long as I stop advertising for 3 months before I start selling it that is legal in California it would seem.

They also clearly used a word intended to mislead... "capabilities" is such a word. I have seen judges in my country get annoyed and heavily fine companies for using such words in there adverts. Of course I am sure in California they are much more pro corp.

In this case a judge doesn't have to find them guilty... enough of us simply need to uninstall our games, it would hurt much more then the slap on the wrist fine they would get from a judge.

...so the trait is beyond OP but the ship itself is basically a bugship with intel and command?

Slap another fore weapon and a pair of hangar bays on there and it'll be OP enough.

    I'm still buying it anyway.

Very nice ship. Hope to see it around on the game. If I had one, I would use it on a KDF Tac. It seems to match that style the best.

Devil's advocate here, but answer me this:

The "advertising" you cite advised that the JHAS - the attack ship would have T6 capabilities.

Not the "we'll release some year down the line actual T6 JH_S".

Therefore, "false advertising", if that is truly appropriate in this case, occurred when the JHAS did not live up to the "T6 capabilities" advertising within hours of the T6 launch and/or Delta Rising...

Otherwise, Since Cryptic advertised, advised, and claims to believe that T5U = T6, and functions that exist on T6 ships (as well as T5U but not plain T5) like hull scaling, at least one earnable starship trait (even if it's the passive(s) locked to the JHAS), etc. etc., are "capabilities generated for T6 that have been applied to the T5U JHAS, therefore said ship is / has "T6 capabilities" - any lawsuit that can be claimed for the JHAS "false advertising" (statute of limitations expired yet?) looks like it'll be laughed out in pre-trial...
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

To rob a line: [quote: Mariemaia Kushrenada] Forum Posting is much like an endless waltz. The three beats of war, peace and revolution continue on forever. However, opinions will change upon the reading of my post.[/quote]

I don't know much about US state law as people seem to be talking about here, but they can protect themselves all they want in the US.

It's a good thing consume protection laws are much stronger in the EU as a whole and in places like the UK, France and Ireland particularly from what I know. Had it been a paid for item, probably a different story.

Of course, it could possibly come down to someone's grammar not being up to the task, whoever wrote the blog.

Well, they shouldn't have made such a bold promise before they knew what they were doing, then. But they did, they gladly accepted the money offered partly on the basis of that promise, and they should abide by it.

I wonder how good surgical strikes combined with overwhelm emitters gets? Glad the ship only has access to the I version of both. Any higher and it would have gotten ugly.
