Server hamsters died for Europe?

After a evening of disconnects now even patch server wont connect, love prime time UK evening gaming.

Just me?

    You on VirginMedia? as Im having issue's again as well only started when i switch ISP to VMedia was on 02 20mb no issues now on Vmedia 150mb and slow as hell and always going down and the lag......

    Yes virgin but Warthunder etc runs fine just STO.

    Not a server problem. Cannot connect to reddit or several other oversea sites too.

    Yep thats the problem main issue I have is that it seems to STO thats effect so It might be an issue between us and their servers.

    I'm on Virgin and was kicked off. I rebooted my computer, and now I'm back in.

    i keep getting disconnected too, first server not responding then times out connecting to account server.

    Right on the other side of the English Channel here and working without problems. Granted, I had an insane amount of lag on Friday for about 1-2 hours.

    Something weird going on with the internet in the UK right now.

    I have access to some parts of the internet working flawlessly as usual but teamspeak and some games keep dropping out, lol. Same problem with a few others.

    Also on Virgin Media.

    Got back into the game fine for a while got to 2 of 3 planet killers timed out. Cant log back in.

    Those having problems see what you match with me

    I'm in UK and keep getting disconnected from the server. It started at about 6:20pm and I keep checking back on the game to see if its stable but as of now (8:47pm) its just as bad.

    I'm gonna try get the server IP's so I can do a traceroute and see if anything looks out of the ordinary.

    i'm on virgin (west midlands)i'm having problems your not alone
    if i use arc i get in fast and then the game waits for me to enter combat and kicks me
    if i use the sto launcher it has problems reaching the patcher

    it'll sort itself out by morrow

    I'm in France, ping is 600+++++++

    And, disconnected, tried aigain, aigain etc ...

    Cryptic => Delay's is not now 4 months, if after season 10 is not solve, i don't give your money !

    i use post office who go through bt llines, the latest communique to the whole village where i live, a small booklet with all the politics, religious, strictly to village life updates each month, one page had information about the finally awaited upgrade of copper connections to fiber optic from BT at last. anyways.

    i have no issues on my end at this time.

    Virgin have a very bad reputation for certain MMO games, in the past they have freely admitted the problem, and stated that they have no intention of changing anything.

    yeah logging on took a while now i logged off again die top the rubberbanding....


    2 ppl on TS³ with me who r not lagging at all thou.....


    playing anothger onliengame now and got no lags....

    It's not so much the European server hamsters, the problem is Cogent's servers in Boston, the way I usually go about fixing this particular issue is to set the launcher to connect via the US proxy, if that doesn't work try the European one and just alternate until it works, the only problem is that it doesn't work for the launcher patching so we'll have to live with Cogent's incompetence for that.

    It should also be noted that I have been suffering from this today and I use VM.

    I've had enough of this btw, we are lagging since the start of 5th anniversary and there isn't an official statement from the devs or from Ricossa himself. We need an explaination, we are playing your game and spending money on your game, so we have the right to know what is wrong with the server or with the network involved with Cryptic. There aren't anymore single lag episodes, but overall the playerbase is suffering this continuous rubberbanding, so, let us know what is goin on please.

    and in other news a Mr Lag Rubberbanding has opened up a civil action suit against STO for discrimination. His laywer Mr Sever not Responding has said a statement will follow shortly once he can reconnect after being thrown off the premises by DC Daily

    Getting to be a joke tonight. Even doffing is stuttering.

    It isn't just me then. Launcher saying Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out. Anyone see anything on twitter or something acknowledging they know it's down?
