All these references have been very helpful. I will continue to check this thread from time to time. looks like an ip accurate tr-116 and Tolian Soran's disruptor pistol are the two most requested.

I will see what I can do.

just to inform you, I didnt like the tholian sword, here is a the update that you can expect in the future.

It would be better if it was a crystal of whatever color it ends up being and then using animation make the crystal grow/extend into something that looks more like a crystaline sword.

    This is exciting.

I do hope the updated TR-116b will be missing the transporter attachment, to differentiate itself from the TR-116a.
You're right. The work here is very important.

I don't think we'll get the Quantum Burst, as that is in another game and probably falls under the same rules as ships from other games.

They don't need to call it that. Just the idea of a shouldered missile/torpedo launcher sounds fun. Just call it what it is, a micro torpedo launcher. Or to fit into STO better, a MACO Portable Torpedo Launcher, or Omega Force Handheld Torpedo Launcher. It will be powerful, but to make it balanced and not too over power, the standard attack will have the cool down of special attacks, like 10 second or so.

    Rapier.

    YES!

Personally I would love to see a few more melee weapon models. A couple of melee weapons unique to each culture. You know maybe the Ushaan-tor for Andoria, and maybe a classic european/japanese sword for human, and Dk'tang for Klingons ( I know they already have the Bat'leth). My klingon character would love to knife-fight pvp. Plus I would love a melee sword that didn't look like a thick block (tsunkatse), or a slightly oversized knife (tegolar).

I personally support the idea of more melee weapons. There are so few types available right now in game, and there really should be much more different styles. Make em semi-recolorable too and you have a win on your hands.

and the "assault phaser pistol" from Star Trek 6.

Sadly we already have the graphics in the game for the iconic Dk'tang knife (on one of the emotes), but I sure would like to use it and wear it in the game as well. :D

The request for original weapons is as old as the game.

Especially the first contact rifles and a late tng/voyager type of hand phaser (ent weapons are second most requested as far as I see it).
Also klingon mek'leths and d'k tahg or really simple things like a 0815 combat knife in the mele department.
Adding prety much every other weapon but not even thinking about those feels like cryptic giving us the finger on purpose.
Especially given that they have time to fully develop useless event TRIBBLE like snowball guns... I don't thing any of those requests in unreasonable.

When we update the art it will update the crafted tr-116B and the target preorder.

I know since the Tr-b is a visual copy-pasta of the Tr-a, I would ask that the Tr-b be the only one of them gets the update; pretty much ALL players that have the "a" version take it as a thing of pride and it will be a nice shout-out to the people that did the preorder.

I think they deserve something "special". I *personally* suggest you update the B-Model to IP correct and leave the A-model as-is...but it would be more logical to leave the B model as is (as it is a newer version) and make the "A"-model ip-correct.

In any case, It would be great if the two were different, even if it was something simply like reversed textures or whatever.

        Thank you sir!

Any chance we could get accurately-sized Hirogen Hunting Rifles? The ones we have in-game are rather pathetically tiny in comparison to those used on the show :(

Additionally, could we get the Breen Neural Truncheon as a usable melee weapon as well? Would be nice to have a zapstick as a usable weapon, and it's already used by Breen Ak'ched Guards ingame.

On the subject of Breen weapons, it would also be nice if we could get the CRM-114 (predecessor to the CRM-200, and completely different in function: Was more of a quickly-recharging anti-armor cannon instead of a freeze gun). This is the best image I could find of it. All the others are too small or lack detail.

If anybody else can find and post a better image, that'd be great :D

Looks great! Hopefully the animations will be fixed too so it no longer glitches out of someones hand and moves through character models.

Mostly I'd like to see more high end pistols. Pistols were used way more on the shows than rifles yet endgame is almost exclusively rifle-based.

Next I'd like more melee variety and the Worf Bazooka. But first up should be a major pistol update.

What set of animations would you suggest for the devs to use? Melee weapons have a variety of combo attacks that can be done by those who are skilled at button mashing.
