What set of animations would you suggest for the devs to use? Melee weapons have a variety of combo attacks that can be done by those who are skilled at button mashing.
They'd probably have to make a new set of animations. Considering the Neural Truncheon's more of a prod than an actual beatstick, Dagger-like animations could work well. I don't picture it having an elaborate combo attacks, seeing as it's a simple weapon in comparison to, say, a Bat'leth or Lirpa, so it would probably be pretty easy to implement.
The attacks themselves could have a fair chance of stunning the enemy and deal a combination of electrical and kinetic damage. Primary attacks could consist of a few electric prods as a simple combo chain, while the secondary could be a maintained prod attack that deals decent electrical damage with a guaranteed, and rather strong stun attached to it. Third could be your good ol' basic Palm Strike.

Well... some ground Breen NPCs pull out some kind of baton thing and attack you with it so maybe they already have something similar in game.
That's what the Neural Truncheon is. So yeah, maybe Cryptic could take that and add to/improve the animations, as well as the weapon art itself.
Enh... they'd add combo moves. Just because melee weapons have combo moves. So yeah, it needs to have a set of combo moves thought out before it's added.
