I'm tired so all I'll say is this:

Yor reap what you sow cryptic - and from the rage building in the chat box of sto, let alone the forums... you'll need to put on those 5-mins-a-post jackboots on again to ride this out

Dilithium rewards from completing Event Reputation Projects no longer receive a bonus.
I'd love for PWE to explain to us why they are discriminating against our reputation marks... Should not everything be treated equally?

And yes, I know people keep saying that last time it was nerfed this way, but unless there was a weekend that wasn't announced.... you might want to read: http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/9001703-dilithium-weekend-event where it specifically says the reputation system awards a 50% bonus... And yes, I got the bonus last time.

Considering that it takes tens of millions of dilithium to fill our fleet projects, PWE only makes thing harder.

the only thing cryptic deserves is that all players leave and that the dev team gets fired

The dilithium you earn for completing a reputation system will no longer receive a bonus.

They just keep angering me more and more. I'm really beginning to hate them and this game.

Delta Rising truely is the best expansion ever.

Not only have Cryptic and PWE policy makers introduced utterly irritating (and pricy to the non-rich majority of the playerbase) grinds requiring hours upon hours of menu watching to get anywhere (ie: the upgrade "gamble" to get something not-useless), but now exploit opportunities to take away the few joys and pleasures left to the playerbase, such as well earned rewards for play time and patiently storing their resources in anticipation of special events.

All while continuing obvious and blatant attempts to lie to our faces, avoiding and outright ignoring the fact that players are bailing the game like rats from a sinking ship, over how popular these changes are.

    Truely classy.

Having read the company reviews, I wish to extend my condolences to you common members of the staff at both companies who are stuck taking the flak for the bad decisions made by your surperiors, and may it be known that at least I do not blame you for their failings.

Seriously this is simply an idiotic nerf. Players were already mad for different reasons (dead queues, lag, bugs, no pvp, no balance of ships/classes) and somehow they find a way to make sure even the last players that were not mad can join the rest. That is literally adding oil to the fire. Equip your poor forum mods with flame suits and enjoy the PR nightmare.....

Well, if you can actually get a team that doesn't TRIBBLE it up. About 10% do. But ya.

Wow. Oh Lord. This is even worse than I had anticipated. Unbelievable. Cryptic, reinstate mark turnin dilithium bonus, or you will hemorrhage players in immense quantities...

I don't think it's the dev's fault on this - I would think it's the PM making the decision.

    This is... bad.

I'm going to hold onto my marks for now, in the hope that this get reversed. And if not, it's not like I have anything to lose by turning them in after the weekend's over, right?

Late yesterday I finally managed to save up enough dilithium converted to Zen to purchase a much needed increase to the amount of duty officer slots available on my Klingon character. 725 Zen fetches 100 slots, but in this latest revamp of STO dilithium is at a premium and farming for it just to build up for the new upgrading system takes all of everyone's time from being able to actually enjoy the stories and new material.

Well, mere hours, literally hours, after I finally purchased the duty officer slots, and having forgone upgrading for three days while aggregating the resources from three Captains to add to already existing resources to accomplish getting the Zen to do it with, I now find a 20% off sale today.

Thank you so much for informing me of this in advance. Is there anyone at STO who might consider sending me back that 20%?

Maybe with the weekend event gone they'll announce a new feature aimed to improve gaming experience where you don't get dilithium at all for marks or implants/injections/etc...

I think they will only cut the payout in half - because otherwise once you get the gear you want the replay goes to zero.

Can't wait to see the next Dilithium Event in a few months. At this rate one of the notes will be:

I had thought better of this company before now.

    Nahh.... it'll be a negative amount... :D

What would be nice is that ALL dilithium earned during the event is automatically refined!

... (before they came up with this new calendar) I remember it used to be at least 1-2h a day where everything in game was giving extra dili..

and also remember at that time we didnt not had to pay to get rep gear, pay for Starbase holding contribution, pay to upgrade gears... and ship store were more like 2k zen at best...

and not even mentioning we had like 10000% less bugs and PVP was fun, yes we use to have PVP in game with balanced factions I'm note joking ! ;)

My op now is as long as people will keep on giving them money they'll keep on nerfing and keep on not fixing bugs. Maybe it's time we spread the word in game and strike back for once no ?

I hope I'm wrong, but I get the distinct impression that our views don't really count.
