- When I try to do anything (like submitting stuff to Rep projects) in Tau Dewa near the Dyson Sphere (a busy place).

Played on and off for 4 years now, and can't recall the game ever crashing before.
Thing is... when the "server not responding" comes up, I just get disconnected. In this case I don't even get that. The game just freezes and then Windows tells me the game isn't responding.
You're lucky then. My STO has a history of crashing to desktop every 2-5 hours of continuous game play.
After this latest patch? I can't play a half hour before the game crashes to desktop. Its not a driver stop error, or GFX card crash, I checked the System Event Log.
I've had two game client crashes today. Once while fighting Borg with a couple other players in a Red Alert out in Zeta Andromedae. The other was on a loading screen while loading into ESD.
Unfortunately, neither of these crashes triggered the Cryptic error reporter so I can't give you crash ID numbers.
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
What is this? There is such a thing? All the bugs and game client crashes I've seen over the years of playing STO, and I have NEVER seen this so-called error reporter.
Experiencing this same problem as well (again), seems to be the same bug that showed up during the winter event and was actually fixed after a couple weeks of it.

Thus far the only crash I've experienced was today, I was doing the Wyanti system patrol with the Turei and in the second system it just started crashing. Quite disappointing.

3 in the past 45 minutes !!! last one at the end of a PVE and by the time I logged back in it was complete, everyone warping out -NO Fracking Reward
crash in the bz always now. not worth the aggravation anymore. not interested in doing the other stupid stuff. wish I could get away with this level of quality at work.
I've also been experiencing frequent client crashes since the update. Most troublesome were the 2 that happened during ISA runs, and 2 during tour the galaxy
I am mostly crashing in Crystalline, once I log back in, I do not seem to crash again in that same run. But if I queue up next time, I will crash just like before.
I have had the same problem too, crashes in CCA and space BZ. I restrain the frequency of crashes when I put back graphic option back to something my gfc can manage, every major update seems to assume I swapped to a high end vid card. It always happens close to the end when a lot of things happens at once and, most of the time, by the time I get back into game, the mission is done with no rewards. I had very few game client crash since I began to play way back when f2p first started and now its many a day.

Still crashing all my characters in CCA. here is what usually happens...
Within 1st minute of entering, guaranteed CTD. Upon logging back in to same CCA, I do not crash in that mission. If I run it again after the cooldown, the whole process repeats itself. I have crashed later than 1 minute in, but usually it is pretty early in the mission.
I have tried changing my dx settings ingame, vid settings ingame, sound settings ingame. course I could have missed something. No changes. I looked in the folder where game is and the only files that are modified at the time of the crashes are the crash and shutdown logs which basically llist this and some other info...

During attempt to verify files, even my Arc client got bugged and now it is stuck in German (got a ticket for that). So all I have to say is this last patch has really ruined the game for me. I have crashed transwarping, in stfs, in esd. mostly when it appears alot of players are nearby but I dont know anymore.
Game client stop working, sometimes crashes to desktop sometimes black screen then after a while starts working again, but the game always freezes first.
Add me to list of game crashes in the Dyson battle zone. I have a toon stuck there that I can't get outta of there. the game crashes and the error reporter comes up with in seconds of login in there.
Is there a way to force the safe login in thing where it asks you if you want a normal login in or the safe one that returns your toon to space?
Same was happening to me before Christmas (the patch 2 weeks before was to blame) I had to uninstall and reinstall, that seemed to fix it.
It returned after this new content patch, I removed the game and re-installed and it is still there this time, so definitely not my system. Also I am not seeing the cryptic bug reporting tool being triggered either.
This game is getting more broken each time content is released, but instead of focussing on fixing things, we get more content and more lockboxes or Dilithium sink projects.
I'm getting tired of spending money on a game that is broken and little is done to fix it or keep us updated. I'm starting to get the feeling that Cryptic are sabotaging their own game to end it and move onto other projects, since they cannot fix half of the bugs or they do then they re-appear a few patches later.

The patch today didnt help with my probs. I crashed as soon as I fired my 1st shot in CCA. Oh well, guess illl just do anniversary event for the ship then take time off. Hopefully it can fix itself sometime in the future. They did fix the Dyson ship, but since I crash so much its not much use now. I did read in forums how it might be cuz of older hardware, but I have played on max settings for years with np and now its just a mess. Good luck to rest of u, time to explore other galaxies!
I've been getting random regular crashing since the Anniversary Event began, still getting them today. Very frustrating when they happen in the middle of combat. Also the UI lag is still there, I think it may have even gotten marginally worse since the recent patch

I tried updating drivers, resetting ingame graphics to defaults,(had same issue a while back and restting graphics solved it, but not this time), have no other programs running, tried running sto without arc, nothing seems to work.
Have EVGA GTX 760, i7 860 @2.80GHZ, 8GB ram, all latest drivers.
Asked in chat, and seems there is a few of us experiencing these crashes since dust to dust was released.
I believe God created the universe, because he knew we wanted to explore. So, he made us a playground...
Had another crash loading into Drozana space. It was a heavily populated zone and as soon as I floored it at full impulse (which lagged for a second to two) to beam onto the station, the game froze and crashed.

What is this? There is such a thing? All the bugs and game client crashes I've seen over the years of playing STO, and I have NEVER seen this so-called error reporter.
