If you have a Galor, then Spiral Wave's are yellow too...
Chris Robert's on SC:
"You don't have to do something again and again and again repetitive that doesn't have much challange, that's just a general good gameplay thing."
but spiral waves only come in beams, and if you're trying to recreate a ha'tak like many will be doing after tomorrow, they were only ever armed with cannons

All Stargate homages aside this thing is medicore at best. As some pointed out it's a slightly tweaked assault cruiser just without the the beloved of the sovereign hull.
I'm also pretty sure no respectable systemlord would use that thing. Can you imagine that Ba'al or even Anubis would build a fleet of medicore knock offs? Don't think so.:D

I'm going to get it, I happen to like the stock T4 sovvie and vor'cha so a beefier version will be handy.
Since I don't watch Stargate it reminds me more of the Tyrell building from Blade Runner, so I'll name it along those lines I reckon.
There is no T4 Sovereign, it's T5, even the free one.
The APU ship is your nonsensical token funship. If it ends up for 200k EC on the exchange maybe I grab one. Two of my characters only have non-fleet, non upgrade ships because I don't see why I should upgrade all of my alts, maybe they play around with that.
^ Memory Alpha.org is not canon. It's a open wiki with arbitrary rules. Only what can be cited from an episode is. ^

I wonder how long it will be before I see the "USS Shol'va" parked in orbit somewhere
Now that you have mentioned it, probably 5 minutes after the new lock box goes live :P
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
so...what weapons exist in the game that are yellow and available in turrets?
hopefully at least one type exists so those goa'uld staff cannons can be recreated
Corrosive Plasma might be what you are looking for. They are hte second best Plasma weapon in the game and can be found on the Exchange fairly cheap depending on the mods you want. The Elachi stuff is yellow as well and also quite good but are also quite expensive.

Looking for a new fleet? Drop by the in-game chat channel, "tenforwardforum", and say hi to the members of A Fleet Called Ten Forward (Fed) and The Orion Pirates (KDF). If you already have a fleet you are happy with, please feel free to drop by our chat channel if you are looking for a friendly bunch of helpful people to socialize with.
Any advice how to make the pseudo-Ha'tak work in normal and advanced PvE?
I'm not sure which consoles and gear will be needed, but I'm leaning towards corrosive plasma turrets and this layout: TT/CSV
TT EPTS 1/ET 2/EPTW 3/RSP 3
EPTS 1/Aux2ID 1/EPTW 3 ST 1/CPB 1
doffs: 2x Maint Eng (ET cooldown), 1x M/A-specialist (Aux2ID buff), 1x Fab Eng (RSP duration), 2x EWO (CSV cooldown chance)
was actually a little excited about trying out this cruiser until the anni ship was unlocked, but it ended up having a super generic engineer heavy build...5/2/3 when upgraded to TU...Not a fan of 5 Engi consoles.
Wouldve been happier with a 3/3/3 , and maybe a 4/3/3 upgraded. Will probably grab one if theyre cheap on the exchange just to see how it looks in space.
Its a piece of TRIBBLE??!!?? I agree but, look closer. Well what do you know. Its a Galaxy X without pets.
Or without cloak , saucer separation or DHC.
Something in that design just makes me want to throw 8 turret on there.

I don't think of Stargate ships when I look at the APU ship. I disliked the APUs and disliked their ship design. I also disliked the episode that featured them, it was a rehashed garbage story reminiscent of the Original Series third season.
It always reminded me of an homage to the old Metropolis film. (how long til that gets remade I wonder)

It's the fact that it looks the same from any angle so it should fire from every angle.
"Rise like Lions after slumber, In unvanquishable number, Shake your chains to earth like dew, Which in sleep had fallen on you-Ye are many they are few"
Yeah as has been said...it's a basic assault cruiser with less personality.

Allow single cannons in every slot for this vessel. :P

doesnt have a 'launch deathgliders' console... don't want :P
So in other words you want a hangar?

I was so excited to see the release of this ship, until I saw the boff layout. I think Cryptic missed the mark here.
The Pralor and Cravic ships featured in the episode "Prototype," used things like Quantum Resonance Charges and a Subspace Defense Field to smack The Voyager around pretty hard. While the weapons and defenses of Starfleet have been substantially upgraded since Starfleet learned about the Pralor and Cravic, Cryptic missed a golden opportunity to release, at the very least, a new console and weapon energy type. Getting a Pralor or Cravic doff would have also been excellent, or, dream of dreams, a Cravic or Pralor Bridge Officer with that awesome lightning personal weapon effect they used.

I think you answered your own question. The mirror ship filler is now the odd ship with mediocre stats filler. :P

I did a turret build on an Eclipse to make a Battlestar for my "Husker"...quite fun in PvE's
Who needs the Quickie Mart?
