I'd nominate Iconians for sure, no clue who else. I'd nominate Nabreeki only in jest; while I don't loathe Dental as some people do, giving them any position of power or authority is asking for trouble.
If gulberat had time, she'd be a good mod, as would sander233 if he had time. However, I think that most of the Ten Forward guys (myself included) lack the free time to be mods.
I mean, I'm in freaking college. And writing fanfics. And burned out from nightmare Chemistry tests.
If I had to nominate someone for CM... honestly Iconians would be a good shot because it'd just be hillarious. I don't know if we'd even have 10 members on the forums outside of developers hehe.
For mods well how about virusdancer just because I like his avatars and that neo guy that has gul dukat as his avatar...his signatures make me laugh.

For starters I'd just close down ALL of General Discussion and ban 90+% of the threadstarters there. And I'd go through the shipyard forums banning people for sharing terrible build advice. I'd vindictively ban every idiot who says that the Gorn NEED the ability to throw rocks around like f**kin' Donkey Kong as if we were technologically inferior to the godforsaken Kazon.
And I'd retroban shadowfang for calling me Colonel Sanders.

I havn't met anyone here on the forums who I think has what it takes to be CM for STO... Or anything else for that matter.

Pffffffffft, no.
I have my standards.
I don't think I'd be a great CM or mod; I'd permaban anyone who violated the FCT more than twice, permaban anyone who made a racist, sexist, or homophobic remark and didn't apologize and/or retract it when called out on it, and add any and all threads about playable Kazon to the FCT.
Then I'd ban anyone who advocated for playable Kazon just out of spite because I'm kind of burned out from intensive studying.
On the constructive side, I'd be extra sure to come up with a LC twice a month and re-sticky the Ten Forward Fanfics Page. In fact, I'd probably make an entire fanfiction subforum and sticky the RP, ban the guy above you MK 3, and Hail Ba'al threads just for kicks.
Then I would give myself a fancy title and see if being a Mod/CM could get me a date with Smirk, because he's kind of adorable in that blueshirt bathrobe thing of his. On top of that, I'd help him with his build so he can PWN everything in the game and people stop picking on him for having low DPS and such.
I actually like the guy, after all.
Then I'd name Trendy High Supreme Overlady of Everything and make a subforum dedicated to how awesome she is, because BranFlakes really was right when he told me that Trendy was his best hire.
Finally, I'd settle down with the forums remade in my image and share PMs about how much better things are now with the other Mods and CMs. And I would be quietly self-satisfied.
Not even the developers would be spared. If they post anything on social media, I'd simply copypasta it directly to the forums for public vivisection. I mean consumption. Sorry, typo.
That would definitely work for when Horizon gets threads moved or deleted.
