The patch for me is only 956mb, should take a few minutes with 100mb dl speed (virgin) and yes speed test confirms running minimum @ 97.

I know lots of you have replied but the more posts there are, the more likely they are to notice this.

    p.s. 10 minutes - 0% downloaded (received 9000kb) this is beyond a joke.

So I'm going to miss the last part of the mirror universe event because your maintenance/patching department can't get a simple maintenance done right?? Awesome...

    I'm at 16% currently, 121.5/753 MB.

Even with time gated posting, I think I could keep up at this rate...

Intrepid bundles announced, in that thread too everyone is suffering from this patch so its more widespread than we thought.

I am very disappointed with what they have done, intrepid should have been included in delta pack considering its what the expansion is all about and we should have had the voyager bridge years ago, seriously.

If they are releasing the same ships we got now in a T6 version then the people that have the previous ones should get it at a discounted price.

I thought the problem was on my end, so I tried resetting my router.
When that didnt work I cane here and I see now that its not just me as I though.
I have seen slow patches before, but not this bad.
I got a 2 MB line and are currently going on 5 minutes for the download, where as usually it takes at most 30 seconds.

So, Neverwinter had a big patch yesterday, and there were login issues.

STO is now facing slow patching issues, nice to know where Cryptic's priorities are.

They really weren't stuck in a wormhole in the first movie, it was just them downloading the next sector space block.

I started to patch about a half hour before the server was to come up, and waited. And waited. I noticed the speed of patching was abysmal, about dial up speeds. Forty minutes and maybe a tenth of the patch went through. I thought maybe the servers were slammed or something. When the patch hadn't left 19% for ten minutes I finally killed it, then started again. It went much faster like normal broadband. No idea why it did that. I've patched the game since beta and never had the like.

Anyone else see this problem before?

Understood, but when a majority of people are stuck patching for over 6 hours, it seems hardly fair.

Everytime it starts slowing down. I simply hit Cancel(which doesnt remove what has already been downloaded) and 'start' the patch again.. Goes fast for a while and slows down.. But it works.. I've downloaded half the patch in the last 5 min doing this after spending 10 min waiting beforehand.

Guys, stop patching! I started patching right when servers went up and it was patching at a reasonable speed, then suddenly at 98%, it grinds to a trickle. So I say everyone stop patching for a couple minutes and let mine finish!

Have you not bought the new Upgrade Token for the patcher? Only costs 700Zen to upgrade to the new Patch-U version :)

So, which will be faster? Today's patch, or taking down a Vaadwar Heavy Artillery ship with a shuttle on Elite setting?
