    I should have known better I should have turn it on while it was down. So it would have completed already. This doesn't make much sense! It's like the old days of installing the game. Why would they throttle back the push to players PCs from there host server?

    OMG Over and hour and a half and im on 1% but data is very very very slowly moving.. Like voyagers trip home i hope this ant gonna take 7 years i mean hours.. ..

    Well i just got home 1 hour ago and mine stays at 24.3% for the past 20 minutes. So i restarted it and it does the same at 15%

    Waiting for bout 1 1/2 hour and now stuck on 81.9%. They should post something bout this, why is patching so slow.

    At this rate, my patch download should be done by next Thursday and be ready for the next patch to start.

    About time we get a dev to comment on this, if it had been 1 or 2 people and only 30 mins after the server went up thats one thing, this seems far more widespread.

    Slow here too. Abysmal speed. Located in the UK with a fibre connection.

    Same here in the UK. Launcher takes more than one attempt to load, then patching hit 1% and froze. After reloading the launcher, it got to 4.2% then froze again.

    Please can we have a mod or dev response on this to make sure the issue is known and being worked on?

    been nearly 2 hours, ive downloaded the old republic before in the time its taken me here and that thing is over 10GB

    Yeah extremely slow patches here as well, I get 100+ Mbps soo.. maybe it is server stress.. I mean Intrepid interiors!

    after waiting 15 minutes for the sto launcher to load the art work and the patcher to finally
    appear, the great patching event has started I'm stuck at 22% andit seems to be stuck there
    are the devs aware of whats happenning? have they posted any comments on face book or twitter to let us know whats happening?

    Well if its any help I've just cancelled and restarted the patch and it finished within 1min :D
