Yup pretty darn slow across the pond in Europe here too.

Started off quite fast but now stuck at 12%.

Yeah, I'm up to 77% but it doesn't appear to be moving anymore.

Maybe in order to skip the new patching time gate 'feature' we have to pay a couple thousand dilithium. That would seem consistent with the DR theme so far.

I usually patch tribble server the day before but this patch never rolled to tribble. I have been patching for 20 minutes and I'm at 4% in Florida.

if by slow you means its just stop dling after a few seconds, oh ye its slow

That's what seems to be happening, It will patch for a minute and then Stop or slow down to a snails pace for a while. Then it will pick up again for a few seconds and repeat the process.

Be advised, if you were previously patching at a speed faster than this, you are exploiting. Anyone who is found to have patched at a faster rate will have their patches rolled back to pre-Delta Retching levels and will have to re-patch at new rate.

Ok we have enough patch posts from veried locations that I think we can rule out local internet problems. This is cryptic side.

Buy another hamster cryptic or I will have to buy my pathfinder tonight instead of this morning.

... Also fix loadouts... and stuff...

All launchers are currently trapped in some kind of Temporal Wake... Or in this case, a Temporal 'Sleep'! :P

Yea, seriously slow though. I've been at 17.1% for the past 20 - 25 minutes and it's downloading 0.1mb per every 5 - 8 seconds. *yawns*.

You could always turn on 'on-demand patching' so you dont need to download so much.

Still waiting to be able to use forum titles

    It's not that.

I'm in the US (Arizona) on a 150Mb Connection and I'm getting 56k modem speeds.

I think it's just thousands of people all patching at once.

They really should put up an alternate site where players can download stand alone installers of the patches.

Yep same here, although I stopped it and restarted my computer and that seem to have speeded it up some. the only problem with that is it does start the patch back to 0% but it seems to be better as I am now finally getting somewhere with it

Could is just be the sheer volume of players wanting to strut their stuff on the Club 47 dance floor that have all logged in at once and caused it to grind to a halt!

I live a 2 hour drive from the servers. Granted, packets hop from Connecticut down to NYC before going to Boston.
