    hmmm maybe I ought to dust off the old Diablo 3 disc for the evening, I really don't like it but, looks like STO is down for a while....
    (Id much rather be playing STO)

    Yeah I am getting this too. I logged in this morning but it took a while and now it won't log in at all.

    Made several attempts, all but one have failed connection to path server.
    The only time i managed to connect, I was stuck in the splash screen of Cryptic.

    Same. Got to the Cryptic loading screen when I had to task manager kill the game. The launcher error had popped up after launching the game apparently.

    i am getting this message when i launch through arc or from the launcher it self.

    missing d3dx_43.dll reinstalling this may fix the problem.
    file version 2014.9.2.1822
    last modified 9/2/2014
    don't know how it want missing. did have a microsoft update windows 8.1 64bit.
    i think i will have to reinstall the game again.

    I've tried using the US GameProxy, file verification, flushing DNS, and an installation on a separate computer using another ISP (Comcast).

    Having the same issues in the US... namely, Kansas.

    Trying to update the launcher
    Please be patient.

    Tried connecting 5 times.

    After that I can get, 50% of the time, to the login screen. From there I am able to enter my login information and the computer seems to be getting me logged into the server. But once I get to the Cryptic logo, the game closes itself out and I get the following message...

    Connection problem

    Unable to establish connection to Patch Server. Please check your Internet connection. If problems persist, please contact your Technical Support.

    Add me to the growing list of players who can't even get the launcher to work. I also tried the Champions Online launcher, both are broken in the same manner, can't reach the patch server, I'm not even gonna try Neverwinter.

    In the UK and Errors patching cannot connect.

    In fact it errors and I can't submit a ticket as it can't get a number from the Cryptic hosting servers I am guessing:

    I can now login, nice....To bad tho that i dont have time now to play anymore.

    My window to play got ruined by another down of a cryptic server, no mirror event reward for me today.

    Had the same problem. The server stopped working while on a loading screen. Had to shut it down but kept getting the "unable to establish connection to patch server" message. Restarting the computer didn't work but after several tries to open the launcher I was asked to verify files. I did that, took about 10 minutes and now I'm back in-game. Hopefully it sticks.

    So it seems everyone here can enter.. But i still can't. (Netherlands)
    I get past the password screen, and 8 of 10 times it will login, only searching for patches, and very often it tells me to patch, and freezes. I got 1 time only a download screen but it took 45 minutes to just download 6 mb of 10 gb.

    So.. still nothing here..:mad:

    ok after serious launcher laggs and relogging in from the character screen "im in" but as someone said b4... monster laggerations !

    I came, I saw, I was able to log in three times in a row. Seems all is well for me...touch wood. However, I'll reserve judgement until my morning fleet mark and dilithium grind while I await the loadout bug fix.

    I'm just sad that there was no voyager interior when I got back in. I've waited this long, I shall wait a bit longer.
