Funny you accuse me of trolling, when you clearly don't know anything about space. There is no fluids in space, because it vaporizes.

Its not quite as simple as that. From experiments of astronauts urine being expelled into space, it is observed that it does indeed instantly vaporize (boils almost instantly). However, it then passes into a solid state (desublimation).

However, due to the containing effect of the body, your blood would not 'boil' and your body would indeed eventually 'freeze' after a couple of minutes.

And interesting article on this can be found HERE.

    ::Kobali Prime Spoilers::

Are we even sure that it is Hull Breach Harry from the episode Deadlock that is in the Stasis Pod? I remember Voyager being quite duplicate happy back in the day. Just asking.

There would be some tissue damage from the initial decompression but he'd essentially be freeze-dried.

Not what I meant. Are we sure it IS Hull Breach Harry from Deadlock and not some OTHER duplicate? A mimetic material clone, Species 8472 imposter, transporter duplicate, Another alternate time-line double, or maybe just an actual simple clone? Voyager was VERY duplicate happy over it's 7 season run... though, because of the uniform and age I am ruling out older self from the future and mirror universe counterpart.

The Harry in the game could be the "duplicate Harry", a Changling, or an Undine. The body we saw with the Kobali is likely the original Harry or the duplicate Harry.

Harry Quim is the most annoying character in Star Trek after Janeway herself...
I just wish we could kill the other one and leave him drifting in the Delta Quadrant...

What's wrong with showing respect for the dead? Human history is full of examples of retrieving bodies much older than that for a proper burial.

That question say's a lot, it's good to see someone who has respect even for those who came before and are no longer with us!

I never felt comfortable knowing that the original Harry Kim was left dead, frozen and floating in space in the Delta Quadrant. He was the one person who most eagerly wanted to get back to Earth but he never got to see his homeworld again. Now that X2 will give us an Iconian gateway to the Delta Quadrant, how about we go back there in a mission and retrieve his body and bring it back to Earth for a proper funeral?

they can do a FE where you find out that the Kobali already beat ya to it and harvested him.

Silver Blood only liquified because of the unique Radiation of the modified warp core, otherwise they still remained in their duplicate form even after death. Undine is a stretch but, eh, it's Star Trek where established rules are only rules till the writers say otherwise. And while Harry wasn't transporter duplicated on screen, might I remind you of the wonder that was Tuvix.

So... Garrett is coming back to meet his dead, Kobali self in the next Featured Episode. Does that mean we get a Kobali Intel BOFF?

Has he been Kobali-fied? Doesn’t look like it… also keep in mind he’s still wearing the VYGR uniform.

He was replaced. Why? We don’t know. Is Captain Kim a sleeper agent for the Kobali? Why wouldn’t they resurrect him with Kobali DNA?

And who was that beside him? I have a feeling it was Jhet'leya… time will tell, I guess.

Maybe he's not dead in that cryostasis Pod shown. I get a eery feeling about it. She said don't worry Harry I'll take good care of you. So he's not dead just in cryostasis. Someone the clone of Harry running a mock all these years.

as far as the original harry kim is concerned, he died during a phase shifting of voyager and naomi wildman wasnt born yet, so resurrecting the original would be such a shock for him that so much has changed and past, however equally lyndsay ballard who was turned into a kobali knew that the original harry kim had a crush on her and based on the comments he also mentioned i dont think this kobali knew of that, however time past and the original is still around. im suspecting that this female kobali has obsessively gone after harry in all that time, but if they wanted to turn him kobali then they would of already done it, so clearly something else going on, something... sinister :P.

who knows maybe mustrum will get his moral compass storyline in a twisted love scenario and the original harry kim is turned into the kobali version of gaul but with a hidden neural parasite, the fight between the original kim who wants to kill himself and the twisted nature of the kobali effects that wants him to do as jhet'leya demands and kill for her.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

I suppose it was her. She didn't show once in a story arc where she should have been. I mean, Kim and Kobali ? It was logical to assume she would have been a great help as "ambassador" between both side.
I read somewhere on the forum she is supposed to be dead, but nowhere ingame I saw mention of that. So I guess she is still alive. And she may have found Kim's corpse and want him to become kobali. To be her lover or something. Not sure if it's very romantic or seriously sick. Or both.

the female kobali in the screenshot with the kim corpse is her.

idk but this whole thing with ensign KIMali is creepy i never thought id see the day when a game goes to a place i really dont want to go....but here we are.

i think this is the bridge to far imho this game is starting to become really twisted and i for one have begun to rethink playing.

YOu think this game has gone to far and is twisted? And yet, how many freaking time paradox episodes has the tv series done, the movies? I don't think we've gone to far on STO. Far from it. The IP we're based on already went there long ago and it still confuses me. Hell a starship makes more sense than a flying portapotty....yeah I'm so not a whovian.

Kinda disturbing that right after the Defari climbed out of a war in no small part intensified due to their transforming Kobali dead into defari, which resulted in them claiming that they'd only take bodies from volunteers from now on, they'd start right back up again with desecrating the body of a Federation officer.

Makes me wonder what happened to all those poor dead 'security escort' beam down officers that we all left dead in the trenches of the Kobali warzone...
