    i can't even log in to the launcher at all. says its "unable to authenticate" when i am trying to log into the launcher. is there still problems with the login?

    Seems i'm not able to log in, Unable to Authenticate. Changed my pass with no change in log in ability, good luck out there folks.

    I can not get the patcher to authenticate either today. It played just fine over the weekend but not working today.

    down again. big surprise. and this after the upgrade system didn't even work all the way. ( sci consoles, rommie torp, borg deflector but not engines)

    Not saying we are entitled to anything for this service issue, but we could go for a free ship, or a tribble or something for being patient through this.
    I play the game regularily, today I got a "Unable to authenticate" as a result of my login. I shall await the fix as patiently as humanly possible..

    I just get the error message:

    Unable to authenticate:

    No more details than that. Are the servers down again today?

    did you try clearing your DNS cache?

    failure to authenticate seems to be a regular issue with your game.

    No not fixed!!!

    Why is it stated "Resolved" and No I can not get in!!!

    I just get error message:

    Unable to authenticate.

    No solution at the moment.

    Also seeing the "Unable to authenticate:" on login attempts. Is this affecting people with the Arc client, or just people with the STO launcher?

    Changed password and tried using my email address to login, no success. Still unable to authenticate.

    Time to update this thread replacing the "resolved" word with "investigating..zzz" one. Again. I hope this issue does not take too much. Ive already lost a lot this weekend due to the downtime.

    I've tried both with and without Arc. No luck either way, and don't feel like installing Steam atm to see if getting in that way works...especially since the login server would all be the same. XD

    IT IS A LOG IN ISSUE affecting ALL players. Guys please, go to the bug section on the forums, all the info is there..

    The STO Facebook page is stating they are having server issues again and are working to fix them. LOL DR is officially DOOM Rising
