Emergency Maintenance 8/26 6-8PM PDT

Hailing all Captains!

We will be performing an emergency maintenance on our servers.

Current ETA is to begin at 6PM PDT.

We estimate this will last until aprox 8PM PDT.

We will update this thread with more info.

Sorry for the inconvenience everyone!

    I'm glad I got my KDF mission done just in time. I hate having to stop halfway then find time to get back on.

    Anybody want to speculate/guess what this Emergency Maintenance is all about?
    They say time is the fire in which we burn. Right now, Captain, my time is running out. We leave so many things unfinished in our lives... I know you understand.

    Meh, the only thing I had planed tonight was My Fed collecting the fleet marks from the 8 commendation xp --> fleet marks doff assignments but those can wait until tomorrow.

    We have hamster running the servers??? I thought we moved away from that a long time ago.... like almost 3 years ago, I thought we were using Tribbles now... O.o

    Its a computer server Melt Down! They found Godzilla in there. :eek:

    It could be any reason. I'm sure it was for a good reason. Either to fix a compromised system, exploit, or something else.

    I wouldn't. If the answer is boring (ex. technical malfunction) then quite simply we don't need to know it. If the answer is interesting (ex. the Chinese now know what build I'm using for CCE) I really don't want to know.

    *Sigh*, and just when I was sitting down for a nice night of blowing up Undine, Crystalline Entities, Voth, and other Enemies of the Federation.

    Something will be broke by the end of this, I just know it. Well, time to crack open a beverage and watch the fireworks.

    The most recent update added to Neverwiner broke the chat somehow. People there can't report or ignore gold spammers; or right click & add people to groups etc. via the chat. Seems this crosses boundaries in differing ways from the things you might have noticed in the particular game(s) you play. So, it's going to be fixed.

    Hopefully, without other things breaking.

    Server maintenance can only mean one thing... time for a shower. (I only shower when Cryptic does maintenance.)

    The EC/key sellers yesterday were spamming zone chat like crazy so you may be right.
