That's a trick question - nobody here even has a life! Especially me!

The avatar is a pic of me (about a year or two ago, I guess), so it's hard to say if it affects my posting style. Would I post as me if I had another picture??

(Oh, the shirt reads, "I'm hiding from my imaginary friends".)

    For me, well... time travel?

I wonder how people read my posts when they see that madman looking at them.
I ask nothing but that you remember me.

Thanks, guys...FINALLY got my avatar changed!

I wish I could claim credit for the awesome image, but I can't...it was a wallpaper by the artist over at dA named in my signature.

My Avatar appears to be my favorite anime character 'Queen Scora Intelligence'. A 96.3% match of what Scora would look like in real life. A really lucky find. (thanks internet).

Of course Queen Scora is the the star of my very own Game/cartoon code named: Omega Force Hybrida (not released yet). With an IQ of 1 googol, Scora represents pure intelligence. I try to make smart posts, but my ego get in the way. LOL.
The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

Well, my typical Steam avatar is what I normally use across the board, my main toon from Fallout NV.

But for STO, obvious toon is obvious.

Of course. My avatar is my Fed main character. It gives me the power to find threads related to anything I've ever made a topic about, such as epohhs, starbases, and so on.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

I do that just to fit in with the theme of a Caitian/Ferasan. I never once thought of it due to that Aslan avatar.

Its probably more like "how I affect my avatar". I'm not as bold as jonsills in using a real photo, so my avatar is about as good an approximation of myself as I can get utilizing the character designer. Just... younger. *sigh* :(

If my avatar does affect me? For sure it calms me down. - This is how a lynx acts in nature. And I play as a Ferasan - Yeah, I know Ferasans are mostly aggressive, but I still like lynxes.

    lol, you guys don't disappoint.

I admit, Iconians, I was reading you in the voice of the poofy hair guy from the Chariots of the Gods shows on the History Channel.

Worffan, I actually would read you and hear Alexander in my head....still do...I don't know why. Alexander was Worf's biggest fan though, I think.

Anytime I see Star Wars avatars, my wee brain adds a *Roger, Roger* to the end of the post.

If it's doctor who, I hear the original series opening theme song while I am reading.

Mirrorchaos, yep. I do read your posts and hear the mental Scorpius. My noggin throws in a Chrichton here and there in the post too, just for effect.

    1) I'm a warhammer 40k fan
    2) The Blood Ravens are my favorite Space Marine chapter

So...how does your avatar affect you and how you post? Or is it your signature that affects your posts?
