We are working with Rademaker. But details still need to be worked out.

    Current T5 Escort options include:
    Andorian
    Merian Class
    T5 Akira

These are probably not the next ships on the schedule, but I would expect one of them soon. Eventually, we will probably see them all and more.

I <3 you guys! I think including the other major races in Star Trek lore is a GREAT idea!

Now... if I could somehow bribe you guys (C-Store) to include “novelty ships” from other races as neutral players… it would be the first time any company that I know of, has done so. It would also allow the community to diversify a bit more and also really open up the foundry to even more possibilities once more ships are modeled into the game.

I'd buy a T5 Akira from the store and the Thunderchild refit if the Thunderchild Refit skin gets a nacel under saucer varient added hint hint, nudge nudge. :D That is what made the Akira so awesome to begin with, was kind of sad to see it converted to the overlly abundant over saucer layout.

What you'll probably get is a T5 Andorian Escort for purchase from the store. And a T5 Akira available in lockbox format that you have to gamble/fish for.

But you'll most likely see a series of other ships first. Including a T3.5 Ambassador Cruiser.

The last time I saw someone make that suggestion (it was me), they got flamed quite a bit.

Me too, I have an Andorian alt with an all Andorian crew, well BOFFS and DOFFS at least, and I'd love to have her in a real Andorian ship.

To be fair, The Vesta is very Starfleet like (if a little on the small side). At least it has a substantial secondary hull (unlike the Sovereign where the secondary hull is like a flap of skin connecting the nacelles to the saucer).

The Vesta class is only 13 meters less than the sovy...so a little on the small side makes me boggle a bit...shes a good sized ship
to be precise 672 meters, 23 decks and a crew of 745 and shes smooshed witha hull and saucer as well not much of a neck, are you sure you looked at the right ship here?

I definitely agree. A smashing idea that could improve the game.

The Andorian ship? Or one of the other ideas?

newbies necro old posts to get their post count up so they can actually make their own threads instead of you know.... posting in active threads where they will get yelled at for posting off topic stuff.

Well, and this is going to keep happening until cryptic removes the stupid necro rule. Or they close the posts once they become necro. But since they dont do one thing or another, dont expect people to "respect" the necro rules.

Any mod should close threads that are already too old if they are already necros. But they dont, so i dont see the point on this stupid rule. I never did. In other forums, you have the necro rule, with the difference, you see how older posts are closed. This does not happen here. Why?? i dunno, but dont ask me to not answer in a necro post when i dont have more options that create another post. Its ridiculous. If you dont want people to write in an old post, CLOSE IT!. I dont see why these forums will be different for others. Apparently , they are. And, people complains a lot when a necro resurrects, but then you see people writting stupid things one after another in that thread lol (like in this case, for example).

    Necropost (nee-kro-post)

    1. (noun) A post which revives an inactive ("dead") conversation on a message board. It generally attracts others who attempt to kill it by fire.

    2. (verb) The act of creating a necropost. DON'T DO IT!

    Synonyms: Spamming

Please remember to check the dates of threads; and if you find an old thread which violates the PWE Community Rules and Policies or has been inactive for over 30 days before someone replied to it just report it and avoid posting in it.

Please bear in mind that re-posting in "necro'd" threads is considered a form of spamming.

Note that you're more than welcome to post in an existing active topic or to start a new thread on the topic if there are no active topics already.

    Live Long and Prosper,
