Aside from the usual players in USA, Canada, and Germany, where else is STO played out in the world? Sound off what country you are from.

    Denmark
    Croatia
    Hungary
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

I've definitely seen Polish, Slovak and Czech named fleets. I'd assume at least some of their members come from those countries.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

I am from wales uk. But in my main fleet alone (and off the top of my head). We have english, scottish, welsh, american, german, french, spanish, greek, dutch, polish, brazillian, phillipino, australian, bulgarian, mexican, columbian, and south african. And those are just the ones that come to mind right now.
Some players seldome speak in chat because english is their second language, and we do have comms issues from time to time but we get by with the tools available to us. I love the fact we have so many countries represented in our fleet. Though I will say the majority of players are from the u.s, u.k and western europe.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

The appeal of Star Trek, I believe, has ever been that it has always had universal appeal. Even from many of the earliest episodes, these encompassed issues such as racial equality, world peace and tolerance. Chekov was a Russian crew member during the height of the Cold War; Uhura kissed Kirk during a high period of tension in the Civil Rights movement; the bridge was integrated and exploring "strange new worlds" and the "prime directive" were examples of tolerance, if the species encountered were non-violent anyway. There were even a few episode that approached issues of Spock's complications related to his being a "mixed race" individual. Most people all over the world tend to embrace these principles and one of the aspects of STO (aside from my just loving the genre itself) that I most enjoy is seeing people from all over the world playing this game together. The fact that there is someone from the Ukraine who logs in to play, despite the recent troubles there, makes me want to stand up and cheer. Endeavor to persevere my friend, we are all with you and hope for the best and for peace in your region.

On a different note, I understood that internet access in New Zealand is extremely, almost unbelievably expensive and was slow, dial-up only. Perhaps one of our New Zealand community members can comment as to this issue.

thats narrow view of ignorance. uk, australia, other areas of europe (especially poland), turkey and the russians. i have seen spanish/portugese language used on the game in the past so that includes latin america, and some parts of europe.

unless pwe plan on releasing this type of infomation on how many player the game and various statistics, the best you will get is that. almost a lot of places, but i believe there is a ban list of countries containing i think a few countries. the hell do i know which countries they are though.
