Aren't you the guy who made the same request for "Dyson cat fixes" in every Tribble patch notes thread for several weeks?

    That seems oddly specific!

No more specific than those who asked for galaxy fixes, bug fixes on tribble and so on.

I was more disappointed by the shuttlebay in the new esd, if anyone had a walk around that area while it was in production you will know how large it is, it just seems such a shame that something that took a while to design is so under used, then I see the popup prompt take shuttle to Starfleet academy and I thought well that might be something a shuttle ride from esd to the academy but no, selecting this just does the standard beamdown that you get from the transporter room, so you cant tell me that a one minute cut scent of a shuttle leaving esd and landing near the academy would be that hard to insert here otherwise whats the point?
they might just as well have put in a second transporter room and had done with it.

I totally agree. With as large as the shuttle bay is, it would be a nice place for combat troops/medics staging area, preparing to go somewhere.

We are all clear that costume changes are pretty much instantaneous and that there are no "naughty bits" that exist to be seen, right?

There is such a thing as taking role-playing a bit too far.

They could have left the so-called changing booths out altogether and I wouldn't have cared a whit.

Beside the point, I've seen all kinds of different changing booths/rooms and the doors and privacy can vary wildly from one establishment to the other.

I personally would choose to buy the clothes and take em home to try on before I'd use a booth with saloon doors, but that's in real life.

In the year 2409, I assume that they just beam the clothes onto you. Those aren't doors, they're pattern enhancers to make sure they don't accidentally duplicate you in the process.

True. Still, one of the early replies was so well deserved...

It's funny, yes... and I detect some sarcasm too...

But I have to admit I don't get it... lol...

p.s. I also don't understand the connection to the fleet...

Besides, now ESD has personal changing rooms. In all other planets and stations, you try your clothes in the open (with the exception of the Joint Command Spire, where you do this behind crates, in the dark, in a room that is sealed, possibly soundproof, with Romulans you don't know and who may or may not be friends with the tailor who may or may not be a serial-killer/rapist/pervert/Undine/Iconian).

So that's a big improvement, I'd say. Besides, Star Trek the (Slow)Motion Picture showed that there were opaque force fields to allow Ilia Probe to put her slimpy clothes on.:P

I hate the new ESD. Why people like it?? i dunno.

Not only it has not shape of a space station, it looks like a bar. LOL. Really really stupid. They wasted efforts and time and resources to do that?? really?? how it is possible that people likes the new ESD??.

Anyways, too bad cryptic. The new ESD sucks. Simpy as that.

This is just stupid. If this is the reason people likes the new ESD, then something really wrong is with you guys.

    Can't say I agree.

I appreciate the more open feel and the mezzanine is a lovely place to just sit.

My only quibble is that, wonderful as this is, I can think of a large number of places that could have used an environmental pass more.

ESD wasn't actually broken, it was just a bit dated.

Dressing rooms generally only cover an area from the knees to the head, in my experience. There's nothing stopping someone from walking up and peering over the door.

    Same with restroom stalls.

Also, not to ruin things further for you. . . but ANYONE can walk in on you, at any time.

You need to move to a contry where your privacy is respected then.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

Not even remotely close to the reason I posted this message. And please, stop jumping on conclusions to try and convince yourself we're stupid and brainwashed by Cryptic to enjoy mediocrity unlike you.

I haven't seen the dressing room yet. I think I need to stealh module in there and suddenly appear when someone walks in and starts dressing.

Hey, can we try to keep the tone respectful, or is that too much to ask from you? I created this thread to discuss real and constructive criticism of the New ESD. I am disappointed -- an understatement, really -- with the state of the dressing rooms, which I consider to be a major immersion-busting oversight on the part of Cryptic, but allow others to express their opinions without jumping on the troll wagon.

Do you think we can handle that? Is that a lot for you to take on right now?

Back to the point: I'm with Bluegeek on this: I would much rather take the clothes home and change there than in a public space, but sometimes time constraints and various circumstances don't allow us to have that kind of leisure time to change and experiment in the comfort of our own quarters. It's the sad reality that we currently live in, and count me as one of the first to rail against this reality. However, just a little more thought to other non-human aliens using the dressing rooms would have been nice.

Thing is, Im not sure they really are dressing rooms.

They may be next to the tailor, but you cant actually change clothes in them.

    Thus not dressing rooms.

    I suspect shenanigans.

I have no idea what you mean.

Although sometimes i cordially disagree with Nabreeki, I see no guile there.

So long as you realise what language he uses, all is clear as day.
