I'd guess it's the bit next to the shuttle bay. I got stuck down there a few times on Tribble, there's the bit with a forcefield which leads from the small shuttle bay into the large central docking area. You can jump down to it from the upper level but then there is no way out of that area.

Edit: Actually, most of the invisible walls to prevent people going where they aren't supposed to appear to be missing again. Was that intentional? I mean like the glass at the shipyard, the long sloped pillars running up the middle people can run up again, etc.
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.

Why? Because it's fun! I always jump on stuff to see what happens :D
There is this same invisible forcefield preventing going to this area where the ships are actually docked. The difference is that it prevents jumping onto it in the first place; the one on the corridor on the upper level lets me jump on it, but I can't leave.

Sorry - wrong post, don't know how to delete it or move it so I'm just going to rewrite it in the right session.

    Anyway, new ESD is AWESOM!
    Cheers

    I didn't ask why, I asked what.

Where are you jumping to? Yes, I know, from the Mezzanine, but ONTO what?

Best Guess is that he is jumping from the Balcony to the Section of Roof over Sickbay between the Turbolifts and the Walls.

IF you land on that and Run towards the Glass there is an invisible wall which I think is his problem... It just prevents you from running with the Glass to the Roof.

That's all intentional, but no one should be stuck up there, you can just jump down into the concourse.

The icing on the cake for me is the moving ships and shuttles outside the windows. It gives it that edge to make it feel more alive.

I have to say that Spacedock now feels like it exists within the Spacedock I see from the outside. It is BEAUTIFUL. Hats off to the team who did that. Major Kudos. Pats on the back and applause all around. Just stunning. I don't much play anymore, but I'm probably going to pop in from time to time if this is the direction STO is taking. :D

I have to say I am not impressed with Earth Spacedock I may be one of the few that actually prefers the old one to this space greenhouse. The glassy look of Earth Spacedock looks to much like a shopping centre than a place where people go for briefings. I honestly prefer the old version and this one seems more difficult to find anything like Admiral Quinn or the Space race mission

well i like the new space dock, BUT there are a LOT of details like the banners, really... you could paint them on the wall and they would look the same, also the transporter room, the details (with all respect) suck :(
they really need a lot of work, i think i prefer the old one, maybe it was smaller but it was perfect, not to say that the new one really look like the citadel O.o you guys can do better, there are a lot of examples of star trek star bases so i don't see the need to go out of it in this way, any way pls this is only my opinion of things that could be improved, remember that this game is based on star trek, not mass effect :)
well that was the bad things, the good things, i really like it, the base now looks like a bigger and more important port that the last one, the desing is really great (and as i said there are just a few details that really need to be taken care of) :D

Promotions are broken. When I go to the shipyard to talk to Lt. Laurel, to get a new ship, nothing happens. This is for Pliskin...

Did you talk to Admiral Quinn first or just go straight to Lt. Laurel?
