seems that the developers really dont know what they doing. this is 2nd time in 4 days. friday was out for 14 hrs and now its out for almost 3. and pwe claiming its eastern only. lol wow.
I am in California and the server is down here too, so the first Dev post about this outage is inaccurate.
Th STO game servers are in a Boston datacenter. For you to connect, you have to have a path all the way from the West Coast to the Login Server in Boston. There is a server that handles connections that is not working properly, thus you cannot get a path through that server (and for whatever reason, that serv er is blocking everyone regardless of your physical location be it West Coast U.S., East Coast U.S., or Europe.

agreed, I do say it should get extended by at least three to five days to cover those who have been behind dues to these issues. For some they couldn't play and may had lost two or even three days of play cause of work and such.
Or rather , Ferengi Entrenepuners , tryin to save a buck in overhead while they profit hundreds of thousands of $$$ a day instead of a cpl thousand a day, who sufferes, ... the consumer lol

He says it takes 30 minutes minimum, but he gets it done in 15. You always give an ETA twice as long that way when you get it done earlier people think you're a miracle worker.
