    John: Chairman.

*He and Varnak leave, with John turning to Varnak in the courtyard.*

Congratulations, Commander. I believe you are the first Federation Officer to help avert a world war on a pre-warp planet.

Varnak: Perhaps but Perhaps not. Perhaps in recent memory. But I won't consider time to pat myself on the back yet until I am too old for this job. Besides the Federation is not all about being Dogs of War I have come to see that since I left home.

Terry: *Sticking the transmitter back into his shirt pocket... Heads downstairs and leads Dani to the car*

To the train station please.. We have one to catch.

*20 minutes later, they are on the train.*

Dani: You know, Terry, I was just thinking. We both went to bed last night. Shouldn't the program have cut to the next scene in the program as a time-saving measure?

John: No, it's about peace. And peace is what you and I have created for these people today.

Come on. I'm sure Admiral Hammond's gonna be anxious for our report.

Terry: Not necessarily. Something is already amiss and it seems it wants to drag this out for as long as it wants.. Which I hope is not the main antagonist being offended at how easily I beat him.

This is the work of a saboteur but from within the ship, something expected to happen a little later but I guess things have moved up but within what I have seen.. My thoughts are that someone within Starfleet is testing one of us and this may not be about me.

Dani: I can see that. I mean, I must have caught a few eyebrows in Starfleet Intelligence when my file came across their desk.

    *She looks at Terry.*

Did you actually read my academy record when you requested me for your security chief?

John: I never realised Joral was such a repressive ruler. All the images we saw of Romulus gave the image of a happy society.

    At Lanco 3...

The gate opened. But.. this time they weren't back at the star. Where were they? When were they? Maelstrom's thoughts raged through his head like his name's sake. They were at another gate.

"B'etara, explain this." He rumbled irritably.

B'etara shook her head, "I'm still reverse engineering the trajectory. Something went wrong! I think the gate ran out of power just as we passed through it! I'm not certain we were returned back to the Prime gate. We only made it here by inertia through the jump stream."

"You're telling me we have no idea where or when we are?" He roared at her.

    She hissed, "That is correct."

"Lovely." He spoke in low guttural rumblings. Maelstrom put out a hail, "This is the Klingon Defense Force Ship Lung Ta'or (This will translate 'Dragon Emperor' to federation ship translators), we are in distress. Is anyone out there?"

*Lanco II Orbital Gateway. 2 Synthesiser Cruisers approach the stricken vessel, weapons armed.

Lanco III, Gateroom. Hammond and Harper have been summoned.*

    Hammond: Report!

Lieutenant: An unidentified ship just emerged from the orbital gate!

Hammond: One of Supreme Commander Solara's ships?

Lieutenant: Negative. It's non-Iconian! It looks...

Sir, I'm getting a hundred-year-old Klingon transponder code!

    Hammond: Klingon?!

Tell the Synthesisers to stand down before they tear that ship to pieces!

    Lieutenant: Yes sir!
