*Fox is leaning on the door listening.. his stealth drive is active.*
O'Connor: I am going to try to explain this to the Commander. And then, you're going to conduct your investigation until you find out who is responsible for this.
Colas: But--
O'Connor: What Baker 4-3-2 doesn't know won't hurt them.
As for our saboteur... if they give you trouble... hurt them. I've just about run out of patience.
*He walks out and heads for Wade's Quarters. He arrives after a few minutes and taps the door chime.*
Terry: Just a little world in the spit of nowhere... It was a republic backwater world then the Elibisi came in, the refugees got out of there because of this ship... But not every one of them...
But we had to split immediately there was no assistance as they were mostly tied down to major worlds... It is the reason we don't have that many people in key spots.. I had to make that choice to leave them... I stayed as long as we could but just so many that we had to leave.
So much like Earth.. so many getting mauled in front of me that I could not help, some that I could but so far... Probably cursing me as well as praising me. Especially this kid pinned in a vent, I tried to get out of a vent but and explosion hit and he was gone... immolating right in front of me..

Terry: Its not something I don't like talking about. Sometimes things are not your fault, its the fault of the things outside of your control. If you remember the situation there are things that are happening that make it impossible.

*Dani lies back down on the bed, thinking.*
Dani: Miller wasn't just a friend. I was his superior on the training cruise. He was my responsibility.
What does it say about me as a security chief if I abandon those who serve under me? How are they supposed to trust me to stand by them?
Wade: How would it? If you do not mind explaining it to me?
*O'Connor sighs before turning on his jammer and setting it down.*
O'Connor: There are... some things that go beyond our loyalty to this ship, sir. But Colas and I always draw the line short of betraying you.
Colas being assigned here was no accident. I requested her. 6 years ago, I was approached by a special branch of Starfleet Intelligence called 'Special Intelligence, Tactics and Operations'. They wanted me to help pick out talent in new cadets and approach them - recruit them. S.I.T.O. deals with operations to dangerous or too important for a regular operative. Since Earth fell, they've been placing operatives on our ships to try and give us every edge they can.
But they ride the rules close. When Lieutenant Forrester was assigned here, they asked me to evaluate her candidacy. I told them I thought she had what it took, but I had no idea they were going to do their own 'evaluation' on her.
Normally, I would be informed of something like this, but apparently they didn't feel like telling me in this instance.
Colas and I don't want to see the Captain or Lieutenant Forrester get hurt, sir. That's why I need you to give Colas breathing room. Every operative knows a special keyphrase. In private, Colas can get our saboteur to show himself, but not if she's being monitored.

Wade: You will speak with the Captain then when he gets out. He might not be very appreciative of this.. He prefers it to be open and his thinking of keeping things from returning to the old days.

But as for your request fine.
O'Connor: Thank you, sir.
*O'Connor walks out.
1 hour later. Security, Interview Room. Colas is leaning on the table while Gideon is seated.*
Colas: I understand O'Connor had to tell you about S.I.T.O. to get you here, Ensign, so I'll skip the keyphrase.
I'm interviewing everyone who's been on Deck 8 in the past 36 hours, starting with the engineering staff.
Now, I understand that you are quite experienced with the holodeck systems, correct?
Colas: Well, what you were doing on Deck 8 at 1750 hours yesterday, for a starts.
Gideon: Maitenencing the emitters. I had nothing to do with the main panels, the positive wires were no good anymore. So I replaced them. Took a little bit of time considering the work time was going to take a while..
How about you speak with For... he was tinkering with the panel even after I told him to check the gel packs and the power source. Pretty sure you can check the feed too. For was acting quite odd.

Colas: I'll do that... after we're done here.
Hypothetically speaking, ensign, do you think you could have sabotaged the holodeck if you wanted to?
Comments
Hood: very good. I'll see you when you get done.

Jacob: very well.
Jacob soon is waiting in the primary hangar where the beefed up gunship is sitting.
Pilot: she's all ready sir.
Jacob: good to know. Once the team gets here you know where we are going.
Pilot: aye sir. I do and she's ready for it to.
The rest soon arrive and board the pelican as it takes off. Jacob is setting in the co pilots seat. The rest in the back.
Pilot: strap in boys and girls this may be a bumpy ride.
Gideon: Why would I bother? Too many things to do on my plate as it is.
Colas: Hypothetically, Gillian. Could you sabotage the holodeck? Would you know how, yes or no?
