My friend just got a Recluse carrier, and it's doing the same thing to him, with the Tholian hangar pets. He already had his blue Widows and Mesh Weavers (THANK YOU, devs, for giving us wicked Tholian pets for our spidamans now!! ), and then he sorta accidentally fired all his Widows. When he went to the shipyard to buy more of the blue (rare) Widows, it told him he didn't own the Recluse. I told him to just pony up the dilithium and buy the purple ones, which he was going to do...except that it won't let him buy those ones from the D-store, either.
Is there some sort of workaround I can tell him, that you guys might have figured out? I don't want to tell him to ditch all his Tholian pets, since he may not be able to get any more, lol.
Has anyone gotten a resolution to this? I purchased the three Romulan Dreadnought ships, unpacked them all, and am using the Scimitar... But yet when I go to the Dilithium Store, the Advanced Romulan Drone Ship is grey and I get the message "You must own a Romulan Dreadnought to purchase Romulan Drone Ships." (Yes, I have enough Dilithium) I just want to make sure that I am not doing something wrong.
I don't know, there's some strangeness with hangar pet unlocks, I can buy Advanced Drones for my Scimitar, but not Orion Interceptors, even though I own the Dacoit, I can buy all the fed hangar pets, even though I can't use them, and for some reason I can buy Jem'Hadar fighters.
Hopefully there's going to be a nice Scimitar-related bugfix pass soon.
To my understanding you only need to own 1 of the Kumari Escorts to be able to purchase the Andorian ship weapons.

Confirming that my FED ROM can access the romulan drones normally. My KDF ROM can not, and can not buy any KDF pets, but can buy FED pets, and they are the only ones that show up. Also, can not use the FED pets. See screenshot below at New Romulus Command. I showed the bridge officer to confirm I am a KDF allied Rom. You can also see the Scimitar class in the ship window.

Got the same problem again, on another character. Fed allied tac this time. This is a total mess and really needs looking into, expecially if it also happens with lockbox ships that can't be reclaimed.:mad:

This is related to the people in lockbox/c-store ships unable to purchase the hangar pets that go with said ships. People with Recluse, Jemdread, and Scimitars are all having this problem, which seems to have cropped up in the latest patch.
Have the same problem - bought just the scimitar, cant buy any of the romulan scorps or drone ships. They are all greyed out... several others in my fleet have reported similar issues with other c-store/lockbox ships.
Can we get some sort of acknowledgement that devs are at least looking into this problem?
Same prblem here with my Galor. I was able to buy the first Disruptor. A few hours later when I tried to buy another one: "You must own the Cardassion Galor cruiser to purchase a Spiral Wave Disruptor".

I purchased an Andorian Kumari Escort about a week ago and I can't buy Andorian Phasers as it tells me that I don't have the Andorian Escort (which I do). I'll wager that these issues are related and that the dil store is actually broken, at least for alot of people. Had a ticket open for over a week now about this and still no reply from Perfect World.

Well I think I found a way to work for the Drones and Scorpions.
This seems to be the issue, if you claim the Bundle by the C-Store you get the ship BUT it seems they are not registering so what worked for me was claiming any of the 3 Romulan Dreadnaughts from the shipyard and it registered correctly, I could buy the Drones.
Well... That is an interesting work-around... But, it works! Bravo for figuring this out.
L A M E bug. FFS please fix this already. My main and one alt had no issue purchasing the Drone pet. Now my second alt is having issues purchasing one. It keeps stating that I don't own a Romulan dreadnaught which is a lie. I own 3 on this alt. I tried all the suggested work around with no luck.

Good to hear there's a functional workaround for the Romdreads; however, the guys who bought lockbox ships on the exchange since the last patch are still screwed, though. They can't just dismiss/reclaim their ship to try buying their special gear again.
Any idea when we can expect a fix, so the lockbox ship owners can buy their pets/weapons?
This will not work with my Jem Hadar Dreadnought or my Attack-Ship or is it possible to reclaim them?
This is what I am wondering as well. I bought a Jemdread and a Recluse for my friends, and now they can't buy the pets for them. If this isn't resolved soon, they'll probably ditch the game.
The waste of the energy credits doesn't bother me; the loss of two STO buddies, however, would really suck.

and Klingon/Romulon hanger bay pets are available at qo'nos shipyard.

Strip any of the dreadnaught you have (i had the scimitar only, my brother tulwar only)
Trash it. Reclaim it. Done.
Bought the droneship straight up after that.
