I'm angered slightly, dissapointed more so, and slowly getting myself psyched to play something else. Likely WoW for a couple months. Guess I won't be buying the new ship I had planned. That money goes to Blizzard now.

I can agree that it does not make me want to spend my money as I go, nor do I wish to spend the monthly money on a game that is f2p and still has the option to pay as you go. What can you do with a situation like that? (rhetorical question) 1) Wait to see if things get fixed. 2) Wait to see if another server comes online to take up the slack. 3) Regardless, you are going to wait. I will wait, read the forums while I wait in the queue, and play when my position/number comes up.

I just wished there was some warning when switching chars that you get thrown back into the queue.... I startet at 13.000 and an hour and a half waiting, i get in, do some duty officers, and then want to switch to my romulan char... and now the queue was 24.000??? I gave up...
and I cant even go gold or lifetime because they accept iDeal for Zen but not for that.... *grumbles about them not wanting his money*

General observations from a relatively new player:
Why is everyone allergic to money these days? A F2P real $ Store, considering it is a store of mere virtual goods, ought to offer hundreds of things in every category. On a related note, a game that demonstrably pulls in thousands more players than it has the capacity for would cause any rational profit-minded business man to increase that capacity immediately. All of this is rather depressing, like watching a transwarp great experiment fail. "GOOD MORNING CAPTAIN".
Is there really a Que now? I just logged it and went right to game - has the Q been fixed? I'm a gold sub - but still if it was 25k like some say I figured I would be 500 or something?

I was able to get on for about 30 mins last night around 11 pm, just long enough to finish the Romulan Tutorial, then I got kicked. I imagine it was to make room for gold members.
I was actually ingame about 2 hours ago. the game crashed so i come back into the game only to be 25000 in a queue of 25000.

I wanted to make my Reman officer today. Since the C-store on the website is not working, I had to wait two hours to log in to my main character, go to the C-Store, buy the Reman, then log out and make him. By the time I got halfway through that queue I had to go to work.

This sort of botch is why I stopped paying for this game (and won't pay for the one you just released). How is it that every single patch, release, unforseen problem, or what-have-you ends up taking days to resolve or get right?
omg I had no idea the queue was this bad right now lol. I've been playing all day on my Klingon, the queue was only like 10k this morning, then just now decided to hop to my Romulan, to find myself in 24856th place... You'd think they'd at least set up a 30 second grace period or something where your spot on the server is reserved, in case you need to character swap or the game crashes.

i found that if my computer craft or switched characters to check queues if i went back to the character quickly i was never higher than place 10
I come home from work to play the game and for the past two days I can't even get past the character screen!I was thinking about getting a lifetime subscription but now I don't think so!:(
