    Well, it seems that despite the green light, the login server is down.. I guess we just keep trying till we get in..

    they're taking the servers down in 15 minutes for emergency maintenance. i just got an in game message about it

    They should convert the character list dialog window into a minigame.. so we can do something for a while..

    Steam doesnt update STO.

    All it does is launch the game.

    The patches you get are the same because you connect directly to Cryptic.

    Maintenance means to maintain.

    I don't think they really mean maintenance.

    Agreed The Dev's are stuck between a rock and a hard place :( but I guess some ppl just don't understand that Cryptic just has to do it the way there told :( witch is to bad somedays :( oh well I hope it all works out

    Anyone have Red Dwarf clips, like in the last server outage discussion thread? That episode with the White Hole was funny.

    I'm talking about Steam updating itself in the background. It never tells you it is doing it until after it is over and it's annoying.
