Ditto. Waited ages for the patching hoping to get a few hours on it tonight. Now after all that waiting I can't even log in. Though, admittedly, the log in screen does look quite nice.

Got in. Created Romulan character. Made LT. Logged out and logged onto Fed character to send over equipment. Tried moving stuff from my inventory to account bank. First item took 30 seconds to move. Second item one minute. Continued getting worse with each item. Finally would not move any item after waiting 10 minutes. Logged out to try to "fix" lag problem. It would not log back into any of my characters. Then screen went black. Could not even get back to desktop. Ctrl+alt+del did nothing. It had completely locked up my system. Had to do a hard restart. Got back to desktop and started launcher. Logs onto game but will not connect with character list. Mulitple tries fail. Not happy :mad:
And I'm old, not dead.

I was in, playing fine, then completed a mission and got the most horrendous 'turn-in lag'. Tried re-logging to see if it was just my connection but now I'm getting this and can't get back into the game.
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!
Good to hear. You should record your efforts and make this into a star trek episode. It IS all about exploring the 'unknown' after all.

Being a Gold Member doesn't help. I've been trying for the past while and I can't log in either. I don't care about the extra character slot, I don't care about the Romulans, I just want to play the game.
It's a comforting thought to think that our server stability depends on old bettie bucket a' bolts servers :P
Yep defenetly old bucket of bolts. You can thank good intelligence services who went into cryptic and took a picture of the server.. it costed a few lives in the process. :P
got kicked from game and now I cannot login due to unknown reasons lol , I thought it was to good to be true playing without issues . after I was dropped from game it updated the launcher for me also , come on cryptic you should have learned by now
Having the same issue myself. When I finally did get to my Character Select Screen, their names are listed on the left, but none of them are showing up on the right, and the "Play" button is grayed out.

I was able to log in one time I started to put the traits in lost connection now it wont retreave my charactors says Unknown Problem...
