    its what I am getting when the game is trying to retrieve my characters.

    I'm sure there is a reason. Something like the logon server crashing, or somesuch, Same thing happening to me.

    Stuck in the queue at 12 of 356 for 8 minutes.

    Loading stops around 94.4

    Server Not Responding for 4 minutes

    Re-Login at 6 minutes

    Get pushed back to Login: Login failed for unknown reasons

    Ok it says Im 272 of 519 people... Cryptic I don't mean to be an TRIBBLE here, but I really want to buy a lifetime sub because of the sales, and having to wait in queue isnt swaying me lol.. I know its the first day of the expansion and everyone wants to try it, but seriously! Get bigger servers that dont need to run on hamster power!

    Yep same problem.. had crashing launcher issues, ended up having to redownload the entire shebang, now login failed due to unknown reasons. I even reactivated my gold sub this morning to avoid certain queuing problems..

    Same. Very annoying. It's like they didn't have an opportunity to stress test...

    I am experiencing the same issue. Logged in once, then the client crashed while changing characters. Unable to login since.

    Same... I get to "Retrieving list of Charaters"... Then I get "Login Failed for an Unknown Reason"... As if the slow patching wasn't bad enough! :(

    It's nice to know I'm not the only one getting the "login failed due to unknown reason" routine.

    I am getting the same issue. I am unable to log in, because it says, "Login failed for an unknown reason"... After trying to pull up the character list.

    Also, I'm going to pick up some Indian take-out food. Anybody want anything?

    No, blaming this on an Expansion launch is just a copout. Especially when the servers died several times in the past 2 weeks because of Neverwinter.


    People expected it and bingo. Just shows how far STO has fallen down Perfect World's prorities, we went from good servers to bad servers in just 1 year.

    Breweries should stress test before opening? Yeah that makes sense.

    Cant log in, and game performance was also incredibly spotty; not only in STO, but earlier in Neverwinter. Lots of the good old "server not responding" randomly for a minute at a time.

    I'm thinking their data center as a whole is having some serious issues.

    I am getting the same issue as well. Just finished the updates and when I try to log in it gives me the Unknown Error

    Bout an hour passed, finally patched 88% then failed. Sure it has to do with the Maintenance this morning

    I had very few problems with patching but now it wont load my characters. I hope they werent deleted.:(

    Same here. I was able to login once, but failed as I was loading.

    Now I'm getting the can't login for an unknown reason message

    WTF........ this is now pissing me off. For those that are going to say "why dont you QQ some more" well you can take a hike. This is not like a patch to fix something, this is a patch that you have know about for a LONG LONG Time. This loading TRIBBLE you should have know about. The amount of people that are playing again you should have know cause its new stuff and people wanted to look at it. But now after 3 and 1/2 hours of patching i log in and i am ready and..........


    LOGIN FAILED FOR SOME REASON



    WTF, this is TRIBBLE.

    They are supposed to test this things... not even a queue???
