At least i played more than one hour on the tribble...
But it's ridiculous that ALL the Cryptic games have to go down if the server goes down.
That makes no sense at all.
Champions - Neverwinter - STO - STO Beta... All down.
Coolant leak on the servers! The magnetic serverlocks have been ruptured! Lets go! Everybody out of the server! 5 minutes from a server core breech! There's nothing I can do to save the hamsters! Evacuate!
The server hasn't crashed, from what I can tell, the server is actually up and running. The network is apparently shot, though, and the problem may be occurring upstream of Cryptic's servers.
Just got disconnected from Tribble and now the launcher gives all kinds of funny errors. Don't know if the game server is down too or just login and patcher. Any ETA on this?
launcher doesn't load, tries to update and opens a blank IE window with res://ieframe.dll/dnserrordiagoff_webOC.htm instead
Haven't been on Tribble today. Heard there are queues? Guess you are now planning for the launch since testing = feedback = evading 'unscheduled/emergency downtime'... yeh I know couldn't resist... how do you do a ROFLMAO emote?
Oh, and lucky we had the 3 hour unscheduled meowntenance a few days ago to prevent the server going down again unplanned like this, and just two days later, it's again down. Isn't now a good time to put Neverwinter onto a separate rack?

No bro you just sit back and accept the big **** in your ******* and let them continue to be cheap.
I think you need to go outside and relax. I have no idea where you are but it is beautiful here. I am on my patio with my laptop relaxing in the sun. I would be at the lake today except for the fact that I am waiting for a delivery truck with my new bedroom set.
NERF CANNONS - THEY NEED A 50% NERF

Time to write a letter to CBS and send an email! Maybe a few phone calls.. CBS owns the rights to star trek so if you really want something done enough complaints to them about the damage to the star trek franchise that is taking place here then maybe they will give cryptic a swift kick in the buttocks... Maybe...
Does the question go here, or on the Questions for Cryptic in May? >... I don't ask much, just a little server stability. Can we get server stability?... in May? of 2013 (if possible).
Another mentioned his "Going to buy a Lifetime Sub" meter going down... Mine just got RTS stamped on the package. C'est la.... Well, frankly, its a right shame as I keep seeing so much potential in the game and ... well... Presentation is everything. Right now STO is demonstrating itself about as stable as the Greek currency when Germany and France remove the crutches.

ok , ok guy i see what is happening , cryptyc wants us to be more active on forums 17 pages of complaining just in a minute ... thats why they shut down servers ... :P
i see it through cryptyc, now get server online :P

Its not the STO servers its more than that there is no path to their network so their gateway is fuxxored. Neverwinter is offline too, i expect champions would be too.
yup this is going well.
now its back up....ya login issues and last time i tried i got dced form server.
YOU guys need more servers....
It's not more servers they need, it's a bigger server. All of the games are hosted on the same server, IIRC, and it's divided up into parts. It's not "cheap", either, for you folks insisting it is. It's a common practice, and it's to save space primarily.
I knew with the release of Never Winter Nights the servers would have issuses , now they are running testing for tribble , which i bet is on the same server as the other games , and servers go down again , wondering if pwi will stop being so dam cheap and buy new hardware and keep there games on seprate servers , and have seperate servers for testing , like this is getting so dam old , i just pre purchased for romulan and am high debating canceling that CC transaction as these people cannot keep a game up and running for more or less 6 months with out major crashes , this is just so dam stupid
Don't worry Bran, the STO community is on the case.
We've found the problem - you're running three high-demand games on one server, and it can't handle data of this magnitude.
Seriously. This is now a reccurring problem, which brings down all Cryptic-run games when it happens. You cannot keep telling us that this isn't due to all those games being hosted from one server and expect us to believe that the same error is affecting three different games on seperate servers at exactly the same time.
Those kind of coincidences to not happen in reality. Only in the movies.
You're just a machine. And machines can be broken.

McCoy: "It's dead, Jim."
Is it possible that this is a Denial-Of-Service (DoS) attack? It's affecting all games, after all.

But hey, that's fine. You all keep investigating the issue, while I go investigate other MMOs.

I take it you don't play very many MMOs, then.
