    Hopefully a long-term solution can come about in the future, since not just Star Trek Online but Neverwinter and Champions (?) down as well when these happen.

    Interesting notes: The server is actually up, and it is occasionally possible to get in. This appears to be a network-related disruption: Traceroute is showing packetloss originating a few hops out of the server.

    this makes 4x in 1 week, that the server has been down..


    pro tip : put the website, game and test server all on a seperate dedicated server... and dont put other games on the same server..

    I heard star trek offline got some really good reviews because it was consistently offline, meaning never any issues because you never had to be online for anything. 99 on metacritic....just unbelievable! Wow!

    I got stuck in the tailor screen. Ended up having to shut the game down manually. Probably lost what I was doing.
