Looks like Cryptic has suffered a warp core breach. This may be a long one.

    Dear Cryptic,
I figured it out! You just need to power the servers with forum trolls! Glad to help guys, look forward to seeing the game up and running IMMEDIATELY.

Great idea! Use the flames to power a combustion engine, then the hamster can retire!
I ask nothing but that you remember me.

Hey, as far as I'm concerned anyone who got to see the Challenger disaster live gets a free pass on making that joke. I did.

I'm w/ wolfpacknz, I fail to see how the tragic death of 7 people is in the least bit funny. I saw it from my elementary school's PE field, and to this day, thinking about those poor souls gives me chills and a wave of sadness.

So while we are waiting for them to reanimate the hamsters.....How do you get any Zen in the game besides paying money. And on that same theme, do you ever get a new ship through missions or is that money also? Thanks.

Dilithium exchange and Temporal Ambassador mission.

Have we set a new record for thread posting speed?

No, I think the "We're taking fleet marks away from the foundry missions" fiacso still leads.
Everywhere I look, people are screaming about how bad Cryptic is.
    What's my position?
That people should know what they're screaming about!

Don't they realize that with any operating system every so often a fresh install is needed to keep things running smoothly????? Maybe if it has been done once in the past 3 years all these issues wouldn't be occurring.

Everyone calm down, watch some My Little Pony, pet your cat, read some Doctor Who novels...I recommend Shada, it's by Douglas Adams. He's a lot of fun to read.
Klingons: Today, is a good day to die.
Federation: Today, no one needs to die.
Romulans: Today is a good day for somebody else to die.

Thinking about it almost 30 years later its funny that just about every kid laughed when we saw it explode and now I realize we laughed at 7 peopled dying which isn't quite as funny but that NASA joke sure made me chuckle lol

Well the thing was, schools and the government had spent months blowing sunshine up all the kids' butts about how awesome space was, and a teacher going up in a shuttle (heh) was awesome, and blah blah blah. Not once did they think to mention that space exploration was, you know, dangerous and that astronauts had already died violently in the course of it.

So, you had kids being forced to watch a shuttle launch when maybe half of them cared to begin with, carrying an avowed enemy of kids everywhere to make them care even less...and it blew up.
Somebody getting uppity about canon? No problem! Just take a deep breath, and repeat after me:

    Spock's Brain.

I ate my pony, the cat bit me, the Dr prescribed me something and the current state of education systems means I can't read that well...
