Today, I made cople of tests, on my Vo'quv. On Holodeck I am using DBB as weapon, and turrets as aft weapon. Work nice, do some pew pewing. Bought 3xDC and copyed all this to Tribble. And that was amazing, how carrier now can work with DC\DHC with RCS consoles. So now, its even more possibilitys to built your own carrier and as you like, now carriers can do dps on its own, not only tank or support. Vo'quv got turn of 12, and Vor'cha got turn of 25. that pretty much battle cruiser for carrier and escort for battle cruiser turn rate. Its realy nice change and fresh air to heavy ships captains life.
Gotta agree with this. My Assault cruiser even got up to 13 turn, without putting much into the engines. I'm really happy with this change.
"Rise like Lions after slumber, In unvanquishable number, Shake your chains to earth like dew, Which in sleep had fallen on you-Ye are many they are few"
Wait, the Graviton Pulse Console currently has the ability to disable engines for 60 seconds in a 90-degree cone, hitting a bunch of targets in PvP, and it's now being expanded to an even wider arc? A 60-second disable (which is achievable if properly specc'ed) which can hit an entire team is just a mite bit over-powered methinks.
Maybe it could do greatly reduced effect versus players, but keep its potency against the npcs?
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.
Go back and check. A little typo and "not" becomes "now". 1 letter and the meaning becomes the opposite. Once is funny but this is at least the 3rd time patch notes have caused confusion due to an identical typo.
Spelling matters.
Indeed. I can honestly I was a bit miffed as well about the Nukara Marks. I sincerely hope the amount will be significantly increased before being pushed live. We all know how things went down with the whole Dilithium removal at Season 7, and the Fleet Marks controversies.
And for the record, I find it difficult to accept a typo, when the letters W and T are not exactly side-by-side on the keyboard. I accept it might have been some kind of typo, but it does look a bit suspicious.
No fix for the Tal Shiar Deflector array making it impossible to use Science abilities in space? A little unhappy about that, but all in all, it looks like a pretty good patch.
The "Tal Shiar Deflector Dish" received from the mission "Enemy Action" now properly allows for the activation of Science abilities.
this was in the notes maybe you should not assume and read the notes instead
Nukara missions will now award Nukara Strike Force marks.
Generally 5 for easy missions, 10 for medium, 15 for hard, with bonus marks during reputation event time.
Note that this is just a first implementation, and marks will be added to additional content.
All Zero said was that the missions are NOW awarding Nukara marks. She doesn't say things are finalized. And marks will be added to additional content. Most likely Azure Nebula and Vault Ensnared. And since there are a few Tholian missions on New Romulus, maybe there as well. Oh yes, and the Tau Dewa Red Alert. And Red Alert on New Romulus in the Ruins.
As you can see, there are a number of areas in which Nukara Marks can be earned. It would also be nice to have additional content in which we can earn Nukara marks in bulk similar to the Tau Dewa Patrol, STFs, or Epohh raising.
I would imagine we might have an event in the upcoming Summer Festivities that might offer something to gain Nukara marks. This is purely speculation on my part.
I'm also getting a problem trying to patch with a older machine.
I keep getting:
Error 36: A File that was locked could not be open for writing.
Now I have a 35MB file called GameClient.exe.deleteme that isn't in either the holodeck ot Redshirt directories. I tried to delete this file and I get a Write protection error. I have a feeling this is the problem?
Any Suggestions?
I have additional replies in that thread here and here (Figured out a workaround). I noticed the Error quoted above after the check of a physix dll files after patch updating and/or tring to launch the Tribble installation afterwards, but before I did my work around (Post #41 in the 4/19 thread).
While it's not a serious problem yet, I hope this doesn't happen once LoR hits Holodeck. I haven't gone through a reinstallation of Tribble, yet. And I would hope not to. Reinstalling a ~10GB game is not something I can effectively do with my net connection.
Also of note, while cycling through my Characters on Tribble (2 FEDs and 1 RR) at the Selection Screen, I noticed that on one of my FED Characters, the Active Shuttle came up instead of the Ship. I selected my other FED Character and then re-selected the other FED Character again and the Ship was there.
Thank you for the time...

Cryptic, would you actulaly like me to spend actual Money? It's Simple:
Full, Story-driven, select from start 1-50 Klingon Side
Scrap current Lock Box & Lobi system for something more reasonable
Expand Dil and Rep/Fleet Marks to regular story content
I'm still wondering if they are going to fix the KDF tailor problems before this LoR goes live. Not to mention they are marketing that T'varo that seems to be a copy of the b'rel except not having all universal stations but the fact of the matter is that even with universal stations the Enhanced Battle Cloaks there is no real tactics you can really use for shield tanking that can compete with beams or cannon setups vs projectile ones. Unless Cryptic makes some changes they will have shown they have never listened to our problems we've had with the b'rel and create a 2nd fail in that design area.
Edit: I just do not understand the method of throwing stuff out there that does not work as it is explained/advertised to do :P
This is a show stopper bug if you try to change your standard from security to anything else, away team under the stations tab it will crash the game just noticed it with this patch?
So I've heard from folks that the Embassy Consoles were changed like the Infusers.
Er...why?
The change to the Infusers, bringing them in line with the other Tac consoles...knew it would eventually happen. It's logical. The Embassy Consoles though? They're not Tac consoles. Given the cost of not only the consoles themselves but also leveling the Embassy to get the consoles...as well as making the choice to go with [Pla] instead of [ShH] or [HuH]...well, it just appears that the change to the Infusers should not have been applied to them.
Course, that also brings up another issue (an issue imho) - that of the 2pc Harness bonus. That bonus is DEW & DEW DoT. It doesn't affect Proj DoT. If a projectile is part of that set, if one could have the Experimental Beam and the Hyper-Plasma Torp as the two pieces they're using to get that 2pc Harness bonus...uh...shouldn't it also apply to the Proj DoT?
played the new romulan missions for an hour or so.. nice maps and stuff but what this really makes boring is the fact, that you only see text and i am too lazy to read anything so i just click the buttons until a green one appears. most of the time, the goal is the same (shoot people, beam up, destroy object x, destroy ship, fly to coordinate xy). with that, i dont want minigames implemented that are absolutely boring. i am missing voice and action in this game.
i like the new explosion effects of ships (or implosion?)
Ok, I managed to play some time on Nukera with my fed lvl 50 and I noticed only two things that stuck out, the rewards after playing them for a few hours is rather low and it gets uninteresting, ...I fell asleep, really. And you guys removed that one mission that was "Kill X? amount of tholians" may I ask why? the ones that really bothered me though was "hard" (elite) we only get 15 marks for! That doesn't seem hardly worth it when we could grind out the lower level missions and make more just as fast if not faster with a proper team.
Nearby is Drozana, the new station looks amazing, And everybody already commented on the new graphics, and I'll agree. looks great. I'm hoping that the new graphics migrate over to the fed and KDF side as well!
I have some questions for the devs though.
#1 Are we getting other warp and singularity cores that are Mk12 purple or even fleet?
#2 This is for my brother: Can Romulans join Fed and KDF fleets that are already established?
#3 I think This may have been answered by my gameplay earlier but I wasn't sure...:Can romulans team with Fed or KDF players?

- Generally 5 for easy missions, 10 for medium, 15 for hard, with bonus marks during reputation event time.
These rewards are way too low to hold any interest.
Easy missions are not worth doing at all, same goes for Medium Interior missions. Both are tedious and take too long to complete.
Medium Exterior missions are doable, but offer too little reward to complete a single project at T2+, unless you run them several times (not difficult except for the timer). Doing both DAILY Hard missions will not be enough to complete a single T4 project. Not to mention the grind for the equipment projects.
Quick update. After a couple forced verifies was finally able to get in game. I was able to get all the way thru the 1st Episode arc but am now unable to start the 2nd one.
I am also unable to modify my BOffs appearance in the tailor.
[*]Tutorial:
[*]Updated enemy spawns in the Romulan tutorial so that they scale with the number of people in the area.
[*]As well, all spawns now have a shorter respawn timer.
I did a play through of the tutorial and this right here ^^^
was a really bad idea i was the only person in the colony tut ground sequence and there were way to many tal shiar and i could not kill them fast enough.
Matter of fact i almost stopped it was that annoying id kill a group of tal shiar and try to advance and then got shot in the back by the tal shiar i just killed because of the respawn rate.
Also this is causing lag during the tut colony ground escape sequence
So it comes down to way to many tal shiar and they respawn way to fast so you need to reverse this change you did because its not a good idea.

the 4 starting BO's cannot have their appearance altered at all.

I have the same issue with not being able to advance into the second arc.
The boffs can't be changed because they are basically Unique Named ones. Can't have you going and changing what the guys daughter looks like now can we?
This needs to be increased. Already bad enough that you award a measly 10 Romulan Marks for any daily mission on/around New Romulus. You're gonna start awarding FIVE Marks? Even if you increase both easy, medium and hard rewards, by 100% (10/20/30), that would still be rather low. Patrol daily in Tau Dewa awards 60 Marks. A Borg Elite STF can award upwards of 100 Marks (during event hour).
10 for easy, 25 for medium and 50 for hard does not seem to me to be that much of a stretch. You don't want the rewards so low that noone will run them.
Tested the Nukara missions last night on Tribble. They run just as fast as before, so the mark amounts are probably more or less right. To put it in perspective, I did 2x of each exterior easy and 1x of each exterior medium (plus the zonewide kill wrapper) in about 30 minutes.
So... 30 minutes of effort = ~50 marks
That seems comparable or maybe even better than the payout for doing the Romulan Space Patrol daily....... and the Nukara easy and medium missions aren't daily.
I won't complain if the Devs increase the rewards, but from a game design point of view I'm not convinced it's required.

Do you do the missions of Defera? For Omega marks that is. The Omega mark rewards are just the same: 5 for Easy, 7 for Medium, and 10 for hard. So in comparison, the Nukara mark rewards are the same if not better than what's being offered on Defera (5 for Easy, 10 for Medium, and 15 for Hard). These are all very simple missions and don't take a lot of time at all.
But like I mentioned in a previous post, we need some way to earn lots of Nukara marks in one shot; similar to STFs, Tau Dewa Patrol, or Epohh Raising. The Nukara missions are good as a supplement to something bigger, but not as the main source for Nukara marks. Unless the required number of marks needed for each tier has been substantially reduced.

Gotta agree with this. My Assault cruiser even got up to 13 turn, without putting much into the engines. I'm really happy with this change.

as GLaDOS would say .... "Let the Testing Begin... and never end!"

It is doing the same thing for me as well. Any insights on fixing it?
Well it seems one person's issues are settled, but I have been having patch/launch issues since the 4/19/13 patch to Tribble...
Here's my First post form the 4/19 thread:

Yes, allied romulans can join any fleet in their allies faction.
Romulans can team with Romulans or members of their allied faction supposedly.

small amount of marks per mission

I don't think im going to do this one
