Q: How do I claim my Legacy/Starter Pack items on May 21st?
A: When you purchase a Legacy or Starter Pack, your account is flagged as having purchased it. On May 21st, after Legacy of Romulus is available to patch to via your current launcher application, the Legacy/Starter pack items become claimable via the in-game C-Store (Accessible via the minimap).
Q: If I already purchased a Legacy Pack prior to the new ship and costume being added, will I get the new items, too?
A: Yes! We're happy to announce that all players who have purchased a Legacy Pack since they launched on April 18, 2013, as well as players who purchase a Legacy Pack in the future, will have the Haakona Advanced Warbird and the TOS Romulan Military Uniform included in their bundle.

Q: Is the Legacy of Romulus expansion free-to-play?
A: YES! The Legacy of Romulus expansion will be very similar to our already generous free-to-play philosophy, including no fee to download or play the content. There will be ships at every level that can be gained for in game currency as well as Dilithium and C-Store ships. Captains will unlock new costumes in-game as they progress through the story as well as have premium costumes that can be purchased in the C-Store.
Q: Can I purchase both the Legacy Pack and Starter Pack?
A: Yes and no.
Q: When will I be able to claim my Legacy/ Starter Pack rewards?
A: You will be able to claim the contents of your Legacy/ Starter Pack once the Legacy of Romulus expansion releases on May 21st, 2013.
Q: How can I claim my Legacy/ Starter Pack rewards in-game?
A: All of the rewards will be claimable within the in-game C-Store upon the release of the Legacy of Romulus Expansion on May 21st, 2013.
Q: I bought a Legacy Pack and was redirected to download Star Trek Online, but I already have Star Trek Online installed. Do I have to reinstall the game in order to get my Legacy Pack?
A: You are not required any additional downloads at this time, and the contents of the Legacy Pack will become available upon release of the Legacy of Romulus expansion. When the expansion is released, when you sign into your current launcher client, it will automatically download the expansion via a patch.
Q: If I discharge one of the ships that I bought with the Legacy/ Starter Pack, can I get it back?
A: Yes! Any ship you've unlocked via the purchase of a Legacy or Starter Pack is reclaimable through the in-game C-Store or via a starship requisitions contact.
Q: How do ship tiers and player rank compare to my Romulan character's level?
A: The tiers, ranks, and levels match up like this:

A: No. Romulan Warbirds may only be flown by characters in the Romulan Republic faction.
Q: How do I claim my Legacy Pack Master Keys? Can I claim it on all of my characters?
A: Master Keys obtained via a Legacy Pack purchase may be claimed through the in-game C-Store. Please note that these may only be claimed once per account, on a character of your choosing, but are unbound and tradable.
Q: Oops! I accidentally claimed my Legacy Pack Master Keys on the wrong character! Can you move them for me?
A: Master Keys obtained via a Legacy Pack purchase are unbound and tradable. Feel free to transfer them to another character via the account shared bank.
Q: Can I use the title(s) in the pack on my FED/KDF character?
A: No. These titles are exclusive to characters in the Romulan Republic faction.
Q: How do I put on my new Reman "Nemesis" Uniform?
A: Reman characters can visit a tailor to change into this uniform after it is claimed via the in-game C-Store.
Q: Can I use the Reman "Nemesis" uniform on my FED/KDF characters? How about my Bridge Officers?
A: Only Reman characters and Reman Bridge Officers* may use this uniform. *This does not include the special Cloaked Intentions feature series Reman BOFF reward as its appearance is uncustomizable.
Q: If I buy the Legacy or Starter pack, will I get to make a Romulan/Reman early?
A: Purchasing the Legacy or Starter Pack will not allow early access to any of the Legacy of Romulus content.
Q: Will I be able to access the Ships or Items on the test server before the expansion is released?
A: No. All of the rewards will be claimable within the in-game C-Store upon the release of the Legacy of Romulus Expansion on May 21st, 2013.
Q: What traits/passives does the Reman playable species come with?
A: More details about the specific traits/ passives for the Reman playable species will be available in a future Dev Blog.
Q: Will we ever see the <insert ship that is not available in game> added to the game?
A: Never say never! Please keep an eye on the release notes, blog posts and the forums for information about upcoming content or changes within the game. The forums can be reached via the website, or by clicking the 'Forums' link at the top of the launcher.
Q: Can the consoles that come equipped on specific Legacy and Starter Pack ships be transferred to other Romulan ships and/or ships of my ally?
A: Consoles that are from Tier 1-4 Romulan ships can ONLY be transferred to other Romulan ships, and consoles that are from T5 Romulan ships can only be used on the specific ship they came on.
Q: Because I already subscribe monthly/ have a lifetime subscription (LTS), or am a X-Day Veteran, what rewards do I get from these packs?
A: We have a Dev blog planned that will reveal our LTS/Gold/ Veteran rewards for Romulan Republic characters, but they are separate from these packs. None of the items in the Legacy or Starter Pack are being included as such rewards, and having a monthly/ Lifetime subscription does not grant you any additional benefits and/ or rewards when purchasing a Legacy or Starter Pack. The Legacy Pack allows players to pre-order Romulan Ships and other extras (our Romulan C-Store offerings) at a bundled, discounted rate.
Q: Do any of these packs come with a Gold Account Subscription or Lifetime Subscription?
A: No, they do not.
Q: How long will these packs be available for?
A: We currently do not have plans to remove this pack for purchase, but their current pricing is available for a limited-time only. Once we have a date solidified for when the pricing will adjust, we'll be sure to communicate it.
Q: What items in these packs are exclusive and cannot be obtained via the C-Store when Legacy of Romulus launches on 5/21?
A: The "Survivor of Romulus" title is exclusive to purchasers of the Legacy of Romulus Starter Pack or Legacy Pack, and the "Survivor of Remus" and "Rihannsu" titles are exclusive to purchasers of the Legacy Pack. The Special Reman Duty Officer Mini-Pack is also exclusive in the sense that it will not be available in the C-Store for purchase, and contains four (4) unique Reman Duty Officers that will join your crew. These Duty Officers are bound, cannot be donated to reputation or fleet holding projects, and provide no rewards upon dismissal. If all four are dismissed, you will be able to re-claim the mini-pack.
Q: There seems to be a discrepancy in the price in US Dollars and Euro - why?
A: In your conversion, please ensure you are taking VAT into consideration.
Q: I thought that you could unlock the Reman playable species in-game?
A: Yes, this is accurate. From the Legacy of Romulus Ask Cryptic: "Reman species are an account unlocked reward that will be added to the New Romulus Reputation or available for purchase." The Reman playable species can be purchased via the Legacy Pack or in the C-Store once Legacy of Romulus launches on 5/21.
Q: Can I use ship costumes from Refit ships on the Retrofit versions?
A: When purchasing a Refit version of a ship, a player unlocks the costume for that ship type, and they can use that costume on the Retrofit version of the ship if they also have obtained that ship. For example, when you purchase the Legacy Pack, you gain access to the D'ridthau Warbird Battle Cruiser (a Refit ship) and the D'deridex Warbird Retrofit - you will be able to use the D'ridthau's costume on the D'deridex.
Q: Can I purchase a Legacy or Starter Pack and gift it to a friend?
A: No, not at this time.
Q: Are the exclusive Titles available for use on the Forums?
A: Yes! Log into the STO website and click on the "Edit your Avatar" link. Scroll down below the default selection of avatars to see the available titles. Choose the radio button next to the one you'd like to display and click 'Submit Title' to confirm.

All reman ships are is romulan ships with the reman space set on them
as far as this starter package is concerned?

Actually, that's not true, all Reman NPC ships have sort of a black/blue hull, no glowy bits like the set visuals.
And the pack does unlock two Reman hull materials....
i like the game..but, i spent plenty on it at launch for a lifetime sub. i highly doubt im going to drop another 100+ on it. :mad:

It's the same reason we get lower quantities of Zen for higher prices, they have to charge us a higher rate of TAX in line with EU regulations. I don't like it either, but it's been that way for a long time now.

They add up what they're going to (or already) charge for the non-exclusive items separately. They assign a value to the exclusive items, based on what they've charged for similar non-exclusive items. They come up with $181. It's straight math; you'll be able to check it when the non-exclusives that aren't already in the store end up in the store.
Of course the price of the exclusives will never be checkable, but since Cryptic assigns ALL the prices, it's hard to gainsay them on "this is what we would have charged for this if we'd sold it separately".
You can estimate it now, based on what they've charged for similar stuff before. There's nothing in there that doesn't have some analog(s) currently in the store.
I'm assuming that's the total if you brought them off the C store separately, instead of the bundle like the ODDY or other ships which are more expensive when you buy them one at a time.
So how about it, are you guys planning something like this pack for people who just want new content for their current characters?
Somehow, I think you missed the "LEGACY OF ROMULAS" title that this all pertains to.
