Can you give us the ablilty to lock our ranks.
Ie. once we hit Comander (or the equivalent) we can lock the rank in so we do move into Capt (or equivalent) until we want to. This would allow more rank variences then evryone being ADMARALS.
You could also make Quests based on rank levels and add more ships for lower ranks giving the game more flavore.
Can you do something about the imersivness of the game.
Moving about the intieror of our ships is well BORING. There is nothign to realy do outside of R&D, whats the reason for the capt. quarters? or the mess hall?
How about each sector having its own store lines all base on what a player has chosen for there livly hood (engeneer, tactical, scientis). It would be nice to have story arcs based on what "Job field" I chose to play.
The Federation already has a 5 sci console science pack, 5 tac console tactical pack and 5 engi console engineer ship pack, not to mention other 5 console tactical ships. Will the klingons and the romulans ever have the same kind of peak-specified ships for the professions?
With the addition of another reputation, and by extension another currency type, we're approaching the same number of currencies that STO had when the original currency consolidation (the dilithium conversion) occurred. The rationale we were given then was that dilithium was supposed to represent time invested in-game.
Instead, we now have dilithium representing little more than an artificial time-gate on just about every type of content and reward, on top of additional currency concerns.
When will you be rectifying that, or conversely, admitting that dilithium now exists solely to limit player progression and drive RMT sales?
Content Holes:
One of the major issues facing the KDF right now is a lack of meaningful content. You've just re-created another major content gap by extending the faction back to a full 1-50 progression. How will you ensure that KDF players don't have to spend days at a time grinding star cluster missions like they used to?
Power Drain:
Despite CaptainGeko's dismissive response, there is a concerted feeling from a great deal of the playerbase that the current energy drain mechanic (specifically the inefficiency of non DHC weapons) puts ships that cannot mount heavy cannons at a severe disadvantage. How do you plan on dealing with this?
Tailor and Costuming:
For months now the tailor has been extremely bugged. It will reset a character's costume to one of the default templates the instant one tries to edit it. When will this be fixed?
In addition, since you now are willing to talk about Romulan costumes, when will we be able to edit the appearance of Embassy BOFFs?
Starbases:
During the brouhaha that ensued after the last round of changes to the Foundry wrapper mission you (DStahl) specifically stated that the Starbase grind was getting attention in the May update. Please detail what that attention is.
Will the Romulan woman in the teaser site get a plastic surgery or two? She really needs them, she's like an angel that fell from the heavens...face first!
With the inclusion of the Romulans as a Faction and finishing out the Klingons this brings the total up to 3. I was wondering how this will impact PvP or if there are PvP revamps in the pipe to accommodate the more factions.
Also 3 factions give a natural population balance mechanics in open world persistent PvP. Are we going to finally be able to see the escalation of the war effort into open PvP zones, where we can take and hold Star Bases, sectors, or Systems? As I did notice in one of the Romulan Dailies you had us "test" the defenses of a star base for maybe more of a PvP element?
1. When can we expect information on all of the Romulan ships we'll be able to fly when they are added to the game? I love them all so much and am having a hard time deciding which one I'll fly.
2. What's so of the things we can expect to be doing for the Romulans that is different from the Klingons and Federation?
3. With the Foundry most likely opening up for the Romulans, can we expect more Romulan Art Assets and a Romulan character creator added to the Foundry?
My question is that for the big may update of the Romulans playable faction with all the new features added to it will you put it abit every day or just all on that date the 21st???
Will we ever see updates to the options available in the character creator? Specifically things like Aliens not having makeup options, or aliens have Trill spots on the neck, but nowhere else. How soon until we see kit parts separated from the kits and put into the costume creator? And would we have access to all kits, or just the one specific to a character's career?
Could we see ship stats decoupled from ship hull? Often I (and probably every other player) likes how one ship handles, but want the look of another ship. I can see how it might obscure being able to tell what a ship can do if you paired an escort's stats to a Cruiser look , so probably restrict it to pairing stats of one ship type only to hulls of that ship type. And grant access only to stats and looks your account (or character on the basis of per character ships) has actually bought/received.
If and when we get a level cap increase, how will all the existing T5 ships that we've poured so much money into be handled? Will we be able to upgrade them to T6 ships? And if so, would that cost be minimal? (Because it would be really lame to have to spend more money/real money equivalent on ships we've already put money into).
There used to be a bug where when you beamed down, it used your ship costume instead of your character costume. This would be a great idea as an actual mission. There was a DS9 Episode, One Little Ship, that had a runabout shrink down because of a weird subspace anomaly, and had to retake the Defiant in miniature form. We could do the same in STO where you are playing as your ship, and have all your ship powers, but have to attack/evade giant sized characters and interact with the environment in new ways.
The Aegis set is basically invalidated due to Elite Fleet Shields, since EFS's have 2/3 of the Aegis 3 piece set ability all by themselves. What plans are there to upgrade the Aegis Set to make it unique and useful?
The Elite Fleet Space weapons the KDF have are really awesome (especially now that there are ACCx2 versions). The Fed Elite Fleet Space weapon seem kind of lame in comparison (especially considering how PvE isn't designed to take advantage of tanking but is most efficiently played with as much damage as you can muster; And in PvP, current passive and active healing levels make it One shot Kills or no kills at all). Would it ever be possible to get cross faction Elite Fleet Weapons (Phasers with a Shield Debuff and Disruptors with a Shield Heal)?
It's probably already been asked Dozens of times, but I'll ask again anyway: How is the new trait system going to work? Will certain traits still be restricted to one species (Such as only Humans getting Leadership)? Will certain very desirable traits (such as accurate, elusive, techie, warp theorist, and efficient) be made available to all? Will some species, like the Gorn, who can only take 1 trait, be made to have less required traits? How will advanced traits work: How powerful will they be, how many will we gain, and how will we gain them?
will there be any other Species added to the Romulan faction to play with like the Klingon and federation faction who have multiple species with in them?
If so I suggested the Hirogen and the alien race that was shown in the Nemesis Movie

in episode 8 called awakening in season 4 of enterprise a vulcan told archer that at one time vulcans fought wars and one group who fought to keep emotions and not follow logic were those who marched beneath the raptors wings does this have anything to do with the new romulans?
Are there any plans to develop sector space in the future? As it stands now as a new Lt. I can hop in my clunky Miranda and fly directly to the Klingon home star system unimpeded.
Question: I know that you don't want to talk about the may update but has Geko (or is it Gozer) and Jamjams have they been given any sort of wide latauded or free reign in creating new romulan ships or are the Romulan ships just the ones for the show?

Those who fought beneath the raptors wings are the Romulans. The ones talked about in that episode are the proto-Romulans. They left Vulcan in generational ships, and then settled Romulus. They Way of D'era, not sure if I still have the Star Trek rpg books for that. Is a good read about Romulan lore and background.

Captain Bipto: What's the problem? Just vaporise; everyone, everything, boof, mission accomplished, medals, awards, a parade, next!
1. Will there be new veteran perks added on to the Veteran Reward System for the Romulans? A Romulan "Captains Yacht" Romulan Vet uniforms/pieces, Romulan 1000 day ship?
2. How is the "level from 1 to 50" being accomplished? Will the Romulans (and Klingons) be getting enough unique content to achieve this or is a significant amount of faction agnostic content being added to allow that to be achieved?

thanks for the info .. but is this have anything to do with the new romulan faction ??
Cryptic is proud of customization options which players have with their characters, even Mr. Sthal spoke about it in one of Ask Cryptic or State of Game. Space stations were have to be unique for every Fleet, right now I'm all most sure that all stations look exactly the same.
Instead those so called spacial projects you should give Fleet leaders or any other person with correct fleet permission to use foundry and design which elements should be put in actual interior. Depending on which elements were used in project game system will calculate cost for Fleet project.
1) What are the Lifer benefits associated with the Romulan Faction?
2) What are the C-Store items associated with the Romulan Faction?
3) When will the starbases start generating revenue? Return on investment? This is a big one for me. Since I/we have to pay for items 3 times to actually get the items in my inventory.
4) Bug fixes?
5) Another Rep grind? Are you sure?
I realize these have been asked like 2000 times already, but you know the definition of insanity.......
